I finally found Ryder after searching frantically like a mad woman through the hallways. I am completely and utterly, no doubt pissed out of my mind. How dare he say that to me? I was the player? Are you kidding me? I spotted Ryder's black hair miles away and called out his name, I then dragged him with me to a random corner before blurting out
"We're going on the date. Now."
A surprised look flashed on his face before he raised his hands
"Woah woah. Calm your horses. What happened? I know your still not over him Rose."
"He pissed me off. That's what happened. And I'm so sick of it, I didn't move all the way here just to be treated like this by some stupid guy that owns the school! I came here to get a fresh start! Instead this is what I get, this isn't much better than what it was like before. But if a slut is what he wants, that's just what I'll give him."
He raised an eyebrow
"So your giving him what he wants?"
"Yes! Ugh no."
"Exactly Rose. You cannot give in. Be strong, we're all here for you. But don't give in to him, that's what he wants to see. I mean I think that's what he wants, I don't understand nowadays, anyways! That's besides the point. And honestly I knew him since middle school and I really don't know what's wrong with him. He isn't usually like this. You have to know that he really did like you, I've never seen him so interested in a girl before, I just need to figure out what happened to him."
"So you haven't given up on him? I thought you broke off all ties with him?"
"I did. But that doesn't mean I'm not trying from afar."
I scrunched my nose and gave him a look
"What does that mean? He's a jerk."
We stood staring at each other for a minute before he cleared his throat and spoke
"So," he nodded his head "you really want to do this?"
I nodded and put look of determination on.
"Yea, we're doing it."
This was a super short chapter and it has been so long!! But I'm just settling in my new boarding school that has so much activities and so much homework so I'm so sorry!! I love you guys for waiting for this!!
