Stolen by Love

Chapter 8

I open my eyes all the way and see Raph on his knees, holding my right hand fast asleep.

He must've been worried sick about me. Poor thing.

I get up from the couch slowly and let go of his hand.

Then I slowly lift him up so he can sleep on the couch for doing so much work.

Until he opens his eyes and grabs my wrists, pushing me down to the couch, gently.

I gasp and see Raph chuckling and turn red.

"R-raph, you startled me!"

"Sorry." He says smiling. "Just a surprise of 'welcome back'."

"Oh." I said and start to look down at my chest, embarrassed.

Raph sighs and kisses me.

I knew he was going to, so I close my eyes and kiss him back.

He breaks the kiss and brushes my cheek with his right hand.

"It's a Saturday right?" I whispered.

"Yea, why?"

I sigh in relief.

"Thought it was a school day, that's all."

"Oh."

"Does my Grampa...?"

"Yea. Sensei called, saying you're having a sleepover for today and tomorrow."

I smile and hug him.

"That's great. Thank you."

He smiles and hugs me tightly.

"Anything for my Clare."

I turn red and close my eyes, breathing on his shoulder.

"Anything for breakfast?"

Raph laughs and rubs my head, messing up my hair.

"Got waffles and cereal."

I sigh and smile.

"Better than nothing."
