Over the edge of a cliff

As she crosses the path to the place where she'll learn,
she'll learn what she fears, what she couldn't infer.
She cease all the eyes
that bore through her soul,
where every prejudices lies
through every pieces of a whole.

As her eyes held it's brightness over the morning light,
the light that reflects the kindness through her eyes.
A careless giggle she willingy gave
to praise someone's witticism,
the way she act so naive
and neglect all criticism

And so soon as it came, the morning sun slip away,
and the darkness of the night sky took it's play.
The sob that escape the young lady's lips
are the ones full of hatred and pain,
as the misery aim its' whip
the starless sky abut and cried the rain.

How she hoped someone could opt what she was hiding,
beneath those sinful eyes that are mistaken for bliss.
The darkness that lurks deep within her
wait patiently to have it's reign,
the numbness she perceive are hard to bear
yet she does, she does refrain.

As she run her fingers through the pages of a book,
a book regarding a princess that was defined as perfection.
She does love not because she wants to
but because she knows it is what she should do,
it felt strange how it's normal to care
yet it's so foreign why lies is all we hear.

And so there the young lady stood over the edge of a cliff,
as she watched the sun set over the horizon.
She took a peek below her feet
and felt calmness propagate unto her soul,
no, she doesn't see anything beneath
yet she was certain peace lies over that hole.

Peace that was the freedom she longs for so many years,
was just a mere inches if she just took a step forward.
The temptation of finally being free
to leave all behind and took a single flee,
It's decided, she then took a leap
closed eyes, over the edge of a cliff.
