(Kelsey’s P.O.V.)

I slammed the door behind me and stomped into the house. Louis popped up from the couch and grinned at me.

“Hey Kel – ”

“Where’s Harry?” I demanded. Louis just shrugged.

“I dunno. He said he had some business to take care of and he gave me that video to put on YouTube. By the way, you’re an amazing dancer!”

“You did that?” I shouted. Louis’s face fell.

“Um, no. No, I did not. It was all Harry,” he said quickly. I pulled out my phone and threw it at him.

“LOOK AT MY TWITTER! EVERYBODY HATES ME!” I shouted. I felt tears welling up as I thought about what people were saying to me. They were calling me ugly and untalented and fat and I said that I didn’t deserve to even know Harry. Some girls had even told me that I should just kill myself. Louis’s face turned from shock to pity to anger and he stood up off the couch and grabbed my shoulders.

“Don’t listen to them, okay? They’re jealous. Those girls who say these bad things about you, they don’t matter. Look at the good ones. See, this girl says: Oh my God, you’re an amazing dancer. You should be famous, and you’re so pretty. Listen to that,” he told me. I shook my head.

“Someone could say a million good things about me but the bad things are going to stick. Now I get why Simon didn’t want me in the spotlight. Oh shit, what’s he going to do? He’s going to send me to a home, Louis! Or make me get a job and live on the streets until I can find a house, that’s breaking a rule!”

Louis immediately pulled me into his chest and hugged me so tight I couldn’t breathe. “Darling, breathe. You’re not leaving, okay? This is all mine and Harry’s fault, not yours.”

I nodded silently in his chest and pulled away, grabbing my phone. “I’m going out.”

“Without a driver? Dear, that’s breaking a rule,” he said cheekily. I glared at him.

“Why do you care? You already broke one for me, arse,” I shot back. His face fell from a cheeky smile to a very serious look.

“I’m sorry Kelsey, I didn’t mean to – ”

“Whatever, I just need to get out of here,” I mumbled. He tried to stop me as I made for the door, but he didn’t have to. Simon walked through the front door looking thoroughly angry. We both fell silent as he stared us down.

“Kitchen. Now,” he said shortly. The three of us walked to the kitchen table and sat down. He pulled out his phone and typed something, then handed it to us. He had Googled my name, and many results had appeared. I groaned and put my face in my hands as Louis started to explain himself.

“Simon, it was all mine and Harry’s fault, I swear! What happened was Harry took the video – I’m not sure why – and then he gave it to me and told me to put it up! Kelsey didn’t even know she had nothing to do with it I swear,” Louis urged.

“Kelsey, I made it very clear not to break the rules,” Simon said.

“Uncle Simon, I didn’t know they were going to do it!” I protested.

“It was still done. You aren’t supposed to be known, I can’t imagine what your twitter looks like right now – ”

“It looks like hell, thank you very much. I didn’t sign up for this, Harry took a video. I didn’t know what he was going to do with it! This isn’t my fault!”

“Don’t use that tone with me young lady,” he said sternly.

“Simon, you’re NOT my father!” I shouted. The kitchen fell silent and Simon and I held each other’s gaze. He had been acting like a complete prick ever since the accident and I wasn’t going to put it up with any longer.
