Chapter 29

Kei's POV

I finally reached the entrance gate of the academy. Holding El in my arms I entered the academy doors.

I glanced at El,
my heart suddenly erupted rapidly. 

"Why do you have to be so damn beautiful"

Still looking at her I went straight to her room, I opened the doors and laid her on the bed.  

I teleported straight outside because I might not be able to control my throbbing heart.

"Damn, what's wrong with me?

Jake's POV

"As a water Elementalist and prince of acqua, you disgust me!!!"
I summoned a water dragon and tied it to Daniel.

"smirks, you will never win," he said

"and how are you so sure? you're outnumbered" I answered

He just laughed and looked straight in my eyes, "smirks, because you don't have the guts to kill me"

My brain didn't process the things that happened next, all I know was that the water dragon disappeared and I felt something wet on my lower abdomen. 

Then that's where I realized, Daniel is right behind me withdrawing the knife he used to stab me.

"How foolish"

I stared at the spot where Daniel was tied a while ago.

"A water clone" I murmured and then collapsed.

Jayce's POV

Standing up I glared at Jai who still can't believe what just happened, forgive me, but I must fulfill my promise to Zira.

I clenched my fist, rocks were elevated into the air and was compressed until it created spheres hard enough to kill him.

I pointed my finger towards him and the spheres flew with unbelievable speed towards his direction.

He was so distracted that's why he didn't manage to dodge one sphere and it hit his left arm.

He then retaliated by summoning boulders shaped into spikes

"Just die already!!" he shouted and  aimed the boulders at me

"In your dreams!" I answered and dodged them in midair. Just as I was about to land, I barely dodged a big boulder          That was close!

"Why don't you sit still, so that I can kill you!" he yelled

Another set of boulders flew in my direction.

"Enough of this shit!" I shouted, summoning a bigger boulder that collided with his attack causing it to explode and covered us both with a cloud of smoke and dust. damn, I can't see.

When the dust cleared out, we both attacked simultaneously, he managed to hit my right arm

"Your attack missed me," he said 

"Smirks, think again" I answered

I pointed at the ceiling, Confused he looked up but it was too late rocks fell right on top of him and covered him up.

I smiled I fulfilled my promise

Harmony's POV

"I hope we're not too late"

Mila and I were heading to where jake and Jayce are.

Mila who is leading the way suddenly stopped, I catch up to her "what's wrong?"

"They're there, right?" She asked me pointing her finger, I followed where she pointed and saw a blocked cave.

"Let's go and check"

Jake's POV

Clenching my abdomen, I struggled to get up

"Kid, give up already"

"As long as I'm breathing, I will never give up"

He just laughed and kicked my chest causing me to collapse.

Struggling, I asked "What can you accomplish by doing this?

"A lot actually. After I end your life, your friends will be next and then I will widen the range of the Destructo circle and rule the entire magic world!"

"What a pathetic dream you have" I answered

"Smirks, as if you don't have one," he said walking towards me with his bloody knife. 

Now's my chance. I used all my strength and attacked him with a water dragon, but sadly he dodged it and the water dragon splashed into the ground in front of him and turned back into water.

"Too slow," he said, smirking he approached me, but suddenly a light appeared below him

"I-i can't move"
"What did you do to me?!"

Still on the ground, clutching my abdomen I answered "have a taste of your own medicine" 

"Whe-when?!"

"Well, you were so immersed in that pathetic dream of yours that you never realized that the water dragon I summoned was not to attack you but to create a magic circle right below you. So I won"

"HAHAHHAHAHAA, NOT SO FAST!" he yelled and the next thing I knew a knife is flying towards me

Oh no I used up all my energy, I can't move. I closed my eyes and prepared myself to embrace death Well it seems like I failed.

Seconds and minutes passed. Nothing happened. I opened my eyes and saw Jayce staring at me.

"Tagal mo mag-emote jan ah" he said

I looked behind him and saw a mud wall, now that's why I didn't die

"Salamat" sabi ko lang

"Ano ngay gagawin natin sa kanya?" Tanong niya sa akin

I stared at daniel who is smiling his smile is different

He then suddenly closed his eyes, his face looked so relieved

"Patay na ata tol" sabi ni jayce na tinulungan akong tumayo

Binatukan ko siya.

Mila's POV

Harmony casted her sonic blast to clear out the entrance to the cave

"Anu ba yan, hindi man lang naisip ni jayce na buksan yng lagusan mula sa loob" reklamo ni harmony

May mga narinig kming sumisigaw mula sa loob

"Si jake yun ah"

Tumakbo kmi papasok at sa di kalayuan makikita si jake na duguan at nakaupo, si jayce namn na nasa tabi niya at si daniel na nahuli sa mga spells ni jake.

"Anung gagawin natin sa kanya?" Tanong ni jayce kay jake

Sinagot naman ito ni harmony na gumamit ng sleeping spell

"Patay na ata siya" gulat na sambit ni jayce

Binatukan naman siya ni jake bago nagcollapse.

"Mila, a little_ no a big help here please" sigaw sa akin nila harmony

Kahit kailan ang bilis gumalaw ng babaeng yun, nakarating agad siya kila jayce. In love ata eh.
