Chapter 2

Bang!Bang! Bang! I was startled awake; I got up and groggily walked to the door. Bang! Again with the banging on my door! I looked through the peephole and saw it was the one who ran the apartments. I opened the door and glared,"What do you want?" "Just wanted to say, there will be pest control tomorrow"He said and looked at my new Great Dane,"I'll let you keep that dog but if I see another dog you ᗯIᒪᒪ be evicted!" I nodded my head and shut the door on him. Shadow was still asleep, I'll take him to work with me tomorrow. I went and climbed into my bed and looked at my ceiling until slowly my eyes fluttered closed.
"NO! STOP!", I screamed as I watched my parents get murdered limb by limb chopped off. "NO! PLEASE! I'LL DO ANYTHING!", I was crying at this point. "Anything?", The Man asked. I nodded and he stopped hurting them near the end of his sentence he hissed,"get them to the hospital and if you two say a word your son won't be the only one dead!" The man grabbed my arm and yanked me over,"What first"the man chuckled running the large sword up and down my arm. "I love you Mom and Dad take care,"I cried out. "Ah! The head first, since you already said your last words" he sneered; I cried out as the sword swung, decapitating me. I leap up from my sleep drenched in sweat. I was huffing my hair damp and some stuck to my forehead my clothes clung to my well built body,"what? Nightmares, must have been bad." I get up well awake now and walked to the shower and turned it on; after turning the shower on I went and stripped my bed and put it all in the washer and changed my sheets. I put a new comforter and new pillow cases on my bed and pillows. After finishing I went and hopped in the shower.

I forgot my clothes so I wrap a towel around my waist and went to my dresser. The time currently said 4:15," I only have an hour till I actually had to get up" I shrug I can go on a morning jog. I grabbed a pair of black puma basketball shorts and a white tank top. I put them on and set my work clothes out. I went into the bathroom again and brushed my teeth and looked at my damp hair. My bangs hung on my forehead the faded pink streak even lighter against the middle of my forehead. I brush my hair. I grabbed my phone and slide it into my pocket and grabbed Shadows leash and slipped it on him; his tail still swaying rapidly. I pet his head and we head out. People kept giving Shadow nasty looks and it's starting to piss me off. I see one women smile at Shadow and I stop,"thank you." "for what,"she asked. "Actually having human desency; Shadow, my Great Dane is a big softy and everyone keeps glaring at him" I sighed and pet Shadow. The women nodded and smiled. Then, she finally looked me instead of my dog. She smiled," I'm Ace"she stuck her hand out to shake mine,"You are?" I shook her hand and smiled," Brennon. My pleasure to meet you."

After letting Shadow house the restroom we went back to the apartment. I let Shadow roam around while I went and changed; silky black dress shirt, tucked into a nice pair of dress pants. I went to the bathroom and combed my hair so it wasn't all matted. I went and whilst for Shadow and he came running I picked up his color and reconnected it. I started to hum. I couldn't ever get it out of my head.

Once I walked into work with Shadow Harley came running which startled Shadow,"Hey don't run he will get startled." Harley bent down and let shadow sniff her; to my surprise he let her pet him. "He's so pretty and soft"Harley smiled still petting Shadow who has rolled over onto his back. I grin slightly," I know he's very well trained!" Harley nodded and looked up with a small smile. Shadow wiggled wanting her to rub his belly; Harley snickered and started to give Shadow belly rubs. Josh walked over and squats beside Shadow and let's him sniff his Hand. Shadows tail wagging only increased; Josh pets Shadow with Harley. Shadow rolled over and trots around sniffing everyone. I went to my cubical and Shadow came trotting to me and he crawled under the desk.

"LUNCH TIME" Ace the tallest female with ombre hair brown to a pastel blue, thin figure and she had bright honey eyes that brighten with excitement. Shadow barked and ran from under my desk and ran  around and letting everyone pet him. I took out the bowl of dog food for Shadow and sat it on the ground and poured water into his water bowl. I grabbed my food from the small lunch box.

I pulled out my phone and clicked the contact 'Mal✨'
Bren-Hey, what time do I pick you up?
Mal- hm. 🤔 8:30?
Bren- ok (ノ^o^)ノ

I glance up at the clock 7:30 an hour exactly. I went to my closet and pulled out a casual outfit; Jet black Panic! At the disco hoodie over a short sleeved  shirt and a pair black skinny jeans with white high top converse. I went to the restroom and brushed my teeth; after I went and grabbed my coal black beanie. "You got this just. Just don't be weird like last time!" I sighed putting my beanie on. "Let's do this!"I smiled goofily and gave myself a thumbs up. I text Mal to see if she's ready.
