Grace

Have you ever had a moment where you are in a situation you know you cannot get out of?

Well, I have.

Multiple times to be exact and right now I'm so screwed.

However, I'm not that worried about what will happen to me once I get back home, if anything, I'm actually confused about what was happening now. What was Alessio doing inside my parents building?

Before anyway has a chance to speak, my brother and Alessio both look behind me and I turn around to see Lorenzo and No Name running towards me. Oh, I actually forgot about them for a moment.

They make to me and I can tell they are both beaten tired and fuming from my actions today. I give them my best innocent smile.

They don't smile back.

Lorenzo is about to let me have it but he then notices Alessio standing right in front of him.

"Oh, shit." Those are the only words that come out of Lorenzo's mouth, and I swear I thought I saw him place his hand over his private.

"That's exactly what I thought when I saw him."
I say; I probably shouldn't be talking right now, but I'm pretty sure it's the alcohol that's controlling my voice.

I get a shut-up-Grace look from my brother and decide to keep my head down and my mouth shut while this unfortunate event unfolds.

"You had one job, Lorenzo. One fucking job! All you had to do was watch her and here she is while you two are trying to catch up to her," Alessio's voice was dangerously sharp.

I look up to see Lorenzo looking away from Alessio's impenetrable gaze as he continues to shout.

Come on, Grace. I know you want to tell him it was you who ran away.

Oh, great. Now, I'm hearing my stupid conscience telling me what to do. Now I wonder, exactly how much I did drink? Let's see, one, two, three...it all gets a little blurry after three glasses of champagne so I'm guessing I had a whole bottle. It was worth it, although I do feel kind of like I'm not in full control.

Eh, what the hell.

"It was my fault," I speak up. "I tricked them and ran away to be alone. Don't cut off Lorenzo's dick, it was all me."

Everyone goes silent.

Was it something I said?

"I'm sorry," my brother breaks the delicate silence, "you all know each other?"

I open my mouth to say something when I'm interrupted by Alessio.

He turns to face my brother.  "No. We do not know each other. She is clearly drunk and does not know what she is talking about. Also, I think our business with each other is finished, Anthony. You may go back to your office now," Alessio finishes coldly; he gives my brother a look as if to say 'know your place with my business'.

I can tell my brother is a bit confused and frazzled but, nonetheless, he says nothing and goes back into Sanchez Empire.

We are left standing on the sidewalk with the black limousine in front of us.

Once again, noting but silence.

"Well," I begin to say.

"Shut up," Alessio tells me, through gritted teeth. "Not one word out of you, Miss. Collins." He points to the limousine. "Get in, now."

You don't need to tell me twice, so I just nod my head, afraid of even breathing, open the door and get in.

After I closed the door, I look out the widow and see Alessio yelling at my play mates for the day. They don't deserve to be punished for looking for me all day. If anything, I deserved to be punished. I clearly wasn't thinking when I ran off.
