After twenty minutes of pacing, a familiar face appeared. I groaned inwardly and screamed in my head, why him?

"Where are your parents?" Was the first thing I said to him.

Conrad frowned at me. "Why are you here?" He snapped at me.

I took it offensively and arced up at him. "The exact same reason you are."

Then Patty and Ian appeared, looking concerned and a hint of joy on their faces. We waited with them and dad and I have no idea why I came along. Birth can take hours, even a day or two from what I've heard.

I was slightly anxious and tapped my foot continuously trying not to think of the hunk nearby. I gave myself a pep talk, pretending to read a magazine. I shall not call him Mr Hunky. He has a name and it is not Mr Hunky.

The time passed slowly and every hour felt like a day until I jumped up. "Right, I'm going to the cafe downstairs. Would anyone like anything?" I asked, refusing to look at Conrad.

"A tea would be great, bumblebee." Dad said to me and I turned to him, horrified.

"Dad!" I groaned out in embarrassment.

I thought I heard a chuckle but I ignored it.

"Patty, Ian?"

"Oh, here." Patty reached for her wallet in her handbag but I shook my head.

"No, Patty. My treat." I smiled kindly at her.

"No, I insist." She started at me and I knew I had lost. I gave her her a playful groan, accepting the twenty dollar note. "I would love a tea as well. Ian?"

"Grab me a coke would ya love?" He said to me, his head back against the wall, arms crossed and eyes closed.

"Diet coke." Patty corrected. "Can't have too much sugar."

I nodded and left the waiting room, walking briskly to the elevator. Pushing the button for the doors, I sensed someone behind me and turned to see Conrad staring intensely at me.

"What were you doing in New York?" He asked me bluntly.

Frowning, I replied to him. "Where's your fiance?"

Conrad didn't approve of my tone but I couldn't be bothered on what he approved on.

"Back home in New York."

"Uh, really? Does your fiance know of the extra activity you've done?" I gritted out. I'm still peeved at myself for this revelation, but also angry at him for also allowing it.

Conrad's jaw tightened. "What happens between me and Tiffany is of no one's concern."

I pulled a sour looking face at him. "Well, unfortunately, you're wrong. I don't sleep with people that are already in relationships and I didn't know you were in one. You've made me feel so goddamn bad and guilty." I snapped at him. "And what I'm doing in New York is none of your fucking concern." I spun back to the elevator, waiting for the doors to open.

The elevator was taking too long and I turned to the stairs, opening the door.

"You can't go through there." Conrad snapped at me and I faced him.

"You can't go cheating on people, but here we are." I smirked and went through the door.

I climbed down one set of stairs, hearing the second set of footsteps behind me.

"That night went a bit too far." Conrad told me.

I paused, registering his words before turning back to him. "You started dancing with me. You had your paws all over me. You agreed to leave and sleep with me. You had plenty of chances to say no, to walk away, but you didn't." I gritted my teeth, poking a finger in to his chest.

Conrad snatched my hand away, keeping it in his hand as he stepped closer. "You also could have asked me if I was in a relationship but you didn't." He snarled at me. I took a step back and felt the cold wall on my back, staring at him.

"No I didn't because if I was in a relationship, I wouldn't have led anyone on."

"Like I said, Maya, it went a bit far, but I'm not regretting it."

I opened my mouth to speak, to tell him or remind him that he cheated on his fiance for me, but I was slightly disgusted in him. So I kind of changed the topic.

"How did you know it was me?"

Conrad still had my hand in his grip and I was still parked up against the wall. I glared up into his eyes. He was so close to me.

"That grin of yours." He said huskily. "When Susie said something to you the other night at dinner. You grinned at her the same way you did with me in New York. Then I noticed the tattoo on your shoulder afterwards."

Conrad was getting closer again and I could smell him. He smelt, hunky. Natural and intoxicating.

Then without a second thought, our lips crashed together. My right hand still stuck in his left hand, his right hand weaved around my neck and up the back of my head, holding me to him. Our tongues dancing together, my free hand crunching his shirt, keeping him to me.

My senses were in over drive as I lifted a leg and wrapped it around him.

What I wanted and what I knew was the right thing to do were two very different things. All common sense in me was gone and I was surrounded by my lust and desire. All I wanted was to be against this wall, naked, getting my brains fucked out by Mr Hunky.

I could feel his erection hardening on me, rubbing against me and before I could do anything stupid, like dropping to my knees for example, I heard a phone ring.

It echoed in the stairwell, bringing me back to reality.

Conrad groaned in annoyance, letting me go completely and answered it. I was panting, trying to capture some kind of breathe when it all left again when I heard him speak.

"Hey Tiff."
