"Are you sure you want to come with me to Florida? You should be resting for the games."
At the charity basketball game the other night Logan pulled his hamstring.
That morning I asked him to go to Florida to visit my mom with me, bad timing.
"I don't care about my leg. I want to meet your mom."
We leave in a couple hours and I've been trying to get Logan to stay home so he can get his leg somewhat better for the games next Saturday.
He's not going to stay, I already know it.
"There will be other times for you to meet my family. My mom will understand."
"I'm starting to feel like you don't want me to go with you." He joked with me.
"No! Not at all. I want you to go but I also want you to get better." I sat next to him on his bed, placing my hand on his thigh.
"I'm going, I don't care if I come back and I can't walk...it'll be worth it."
I think I'm falling in love with this kid.
Without another word I leaned forward, kissing him.
Logan didn't hesitate to kiss me back and then...
Things escalated pretty quickly.
