PERIODS

Periods. Evey girl hates them, especially Max. She's even more moody and lazy in her period than she is normally. Lucas was the only one who dealt with Max in her period. And most of the time, it was through the walkie talkie because Max claimed that she looked like a mess and didn't want Lucas to see her like that.

Today was different, Lucas got up early and bought some chocolates to cheer Max up. He had a study date at 5 so he wanted to spend some time with his girl before he had to leave. Making his way to the front door, he gave his mom a kiss on the cheek and left.

Max's house wasn't that far from his house, but they were on Christmas break and he was anxious to see her so he pedaled faster and his bike almost slipped several times on the way. When he got to the door, he noticed her parents weren't home and her door was closed.

"Max" Lucas said, softly knocking on her door. "Go away" Max moaned loudly. "It's Lucas and I brought you something" he said and Max sigued. "You can come in but fair warning; I'm a mess" she said and Lucas just shrugged it off and opened the door. He saw her laying down with a hand on her lower abdomen and the other one was on her forehead.

"Hi baby" Lucas cooed as he saw her. "Fuck off" she said as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Here, have some chocolates, I heard they helped with the cramps" Lucas said and Max slightly smiled. "Why are you such a good boyfriend?" Max asked as he sat down next to her. "It's easy, having a beautiful girlfriend that you can appreciate 24/7" Lucas replied and he kissed Max's forehead and she blushed hard.

"Look what you did stalker! Now my face and hair are the same colors!" Max exclaimed and Lucas laughed. They laid on the bed together, holding hands as Max used her free hand to stuff her face with chocolate and Lucas used his free hand to rub her belly. "Can I have some?" Lucas asked Max referring to the chocolates.

"No" Max said and Lucas pouted. She rolled her eyes and popped one in his mouth. "Thank you" Lucas said grinning and Max rolled her eyes again. After she finished with half of her chocolates, she rolled over so she was on top of Lucas. "You know, if you continue to roll your eyes that much, they'll get stucked on the back of your head" Lucas said smugly.

Max shrugged and grabbed his arms, wrapping them around her waist as she laid on his chest. They stayed like this for quite a while, just enjoying each other's embrace. This was until Lucas saw the clock and he decided it was time to leave. "Max, sweetie I have to go" Lucas said. "No" Max said as she wrapped her arms tighter around him. "Baby, I have a study date" Lucas exclaimed and Max shook her head. "Mine" she said and wrapped her legs around his. "Yes baby I'm yours, but I have to do the project" Lucas exclaimed.

Max looked at him with her puppy dog eyes and Lucas shook his head. She sighed and de tangled herself from his warm embrace. Lucas got up and headed for his backpack. Before he had the chance to put his backpack on, he felt two hands wrapping around his waist. "Don't go" Max said as she pressed her head against his back.

Lucas sighed and dropped his backpack. "How can I say no to you?" Lucas asked as he turned around to Max. She looked genuinely happy and gave him a cheeky smile. Max jumped to his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist. "Thanks for staying" she said looking at him. "Anything for you" Lucas said and Max smiled, laying her head on his shoulder.
