At the afternoon of the day in which Aarav got shot,
Atharv entered into Ayub khan's house and wondered why no one was present in the house.
"What are you doing here, King?"Ayub khan asked with respect though his fake respect yelled the sarcasm in it.
Atharv sidelined the sarcasm and he focused on the reason for his arrival.
"Where is my sister, Swara?"Atharv asked.
"Why are you asking now, King? You never cared about her when I said she was your cousin sister. Didn't you tell me that you don't want any weakness at that time?"Ayub khan asked, reminding Atharv the time period when he refused to accept her.
"Why do you want to know now?"Ayub khan asked.
"It's because he wanted to kill swara also."Atharv worried.
"Everything was over, King. This was the day on which Maheshwari wanted to kill his nephew. I waited long enough for you to save him yet there was no sign of it. So, I sent her with Aadi. "Ayub khan said.
"And, he will keep her safe. You knew that."Ayub khan continued.
Atharv's face relaxed for a moment.
"I want to meet them. I already sent my men to save Sanskar. So , tell me where they are."Atharv asked.
"Blood is indeed thicker, King. Prasad's family left this nation and won't come back anytime soon. I also don't know where aadi is taking his family and whether he will come back or not."Ayub khan said.
"What?"Atharv whispered in shock.
"yes, he has gone for good at least to keep his remaining family in a safe environment."Ayub khan answered and turned with slight hate on his face.
"He let you be the king forever even after knowing what you did to him, King. Till the day he was here, though he had all the proof to prove your deeds, he left this place and let you have the position. You don't deserve his love."Ayub khan muttered.
"Did he know...?"Atharv stuttered after a long time in his life.
"He knew that you were the one who planned to blast the Maheshwari Industries. And, even he knew that you lied to Amarnath Ji and put your deeds on his name."Ayub khan's statement shook Atharv from the core.
"How could he?"Atharv held his head.
"Still the moment he left, he wished you to change. Everyone thinks he is mad in revenge. But, I know he is a fool who doesn't know whom he should love or chuck out from his life. Congratulations, King. Now, no one will stop you from taking revenge.You already costed Aadi's life for it. Still, I don't know still how many lives you will cost for that."Ayub khan sighed deeply and left Atharv alone in the hall.
"Why did you do that?"Atharv whispered. Aadi's concerned words before leaving were playing in his mind. He knew he had done terribly wrong to his cousin brother.
That's when his phone buzzed.
"We retrieved a video from the forest house's black box. And..."The caller stuttered to tell the news.
"And..."Atharv felt an unknown lump forming in his throat.
"Someone was explaining their plan to kill Mohan sir and his family on this evening. I already sent our men to search throughout the forest and trying to track down Mohan sir's family whereabouts."His man said.
"Send me the video and inform my father about this."Atharv didn't know how the words left his mouth. As soon as he got the video, he pressed the download button and ran upstairs as he saw Ayub khan was on the first floor.
