Lakshya held Sanskar's hand tightly for each step Ragini put towards them. Unlike any other illusions where people's memories were represented in form of their body, Lakshya and Sanskar were present on their own.
"I don't want you to look through this, Sahi. Leave the past."Lakshya mumbled. He wanted to resist but she was in thirst to know about the truth and he couldn't even stop her. She looked at their entangled fingers and placed her hand above their hands.

Lakshya was looking at the door of Annapurna's father, his step- Grand father. Lakshya always knew him as the chief minister but he couldn't stop from wondering himself once he got to know that chief minister was Annapurna's father. There were questions in his mind and most prioritized one , why Annapurna's father never tried to meet him and why he wasn't introduced to Annapurna's father . He tried to speak with Annapurna's father in court but he couldn't and his stubborn nature led him to Annapurna's maternal house. Rather than visiting formally, he broke into Annapurna's father room with a thought to surprise him.
"Prince Lakshya??"Annapurna's father mumbled once he saw Lakshya in his room.
"Call me Laksh, nanu."Lakshya said while bending towards Annapurna's father foot for taking the blessing. Annapurna's father looked at Lakshya with a disgusted face.
"That word I would have been happiest person if Uttara called me, Prince Lakshya. she is my only grandchild." Annapurna's father stated.
Lakshya gave a confused expression.
"You aren't my Annu's son but Empress Ratnavati's son. I wanted to tell you this a lot of times once I heard that Emperor hid Uttara in Tanishkant."Annapurna's father continued like he was waiting for a chance to unleash his fury on Durgaprasad.
" It's because of you, Lakshya. I beg you to refrain yourself from calling me like this. As an elder, I could bless you but my daughter's pain didn't let me do it."Annapurna's father said further which made Lakshya stand straightly.
"Nanu!"Lakshya's word made Annapurna's father's face cringe.
"I am also son of Annapurna."Lakshya's statement was interrupted by Annapurna's father again.
"Didn't you hear me properly, Lakshya? You might not. It runs in the blood and not your wrong, Lakshya. Hear it again, you are son of Empress Ratnavati who was also known as Janaki , Emperor Ram's own sister."Annapurna's father stated.
"I am not going to trust you."Lakshya said not able to withstand the truth infront of him.
"You don't need to trust me, Lakshya. Just think by yourself. Why did Emperor need to hide Uttara in Tanishkant? It's because he thought my daughter won't look after you properly. Just because of you and your stone hearted father, my daughter has to stay away from her own child."Annapurna's father argued.
"Refrain yourself from speaking ill about my father."Lakshya sneered.
"Then, Ask your father why Uttara was kept away from her mother."Annapurna's father asked.
"I don't need to ask him the reason. He will definitely have some valid reasons to do that."Lakshya stated.
"He had reasons for all his wrong doings even for abusing your birth mother, Lakshya. Don't argue for your father and leave my house now."Annapurna's father stated furiously.
"I don't have any thoughts to stay here even for a minute. But, I am warning you again. Never speak ill about my father based on groundless rumors."Lakshya warned.
