After I swallowed the burning bright liquid all I could see from the distance even was Vincent's eyes gliding over me in disapproval.

Well...screw him and his eyes.

I rolled my eyes and turned to Daniel who looked positively out of place as he cupped his whisky glass and was looking into the amber liquid, deep in thought.

Or maybe it was...you know what? Whatever.

I pushed the hair that had fallen around my shoulder back and smiled putting my palm on top of his hand.

"The romance is long dead."

He looked up at me perplexed then his eye flicked down to my exposed shoulder and back up to my eyes.

"You look like a good girl." He said in a deep tone.

"I can be good." I whispered, feeling the little bit of whorish-ness surface.

"I can make you be good too." He said back huskily.

I giggled then bit my lower lip. The whole of it, it did the work with Vincent most of the time.

"How did you know my, Papa, again?" I asked shaking my head to free my hair a bit, it was clinging to my unclothed back.

"I work for him." He says, guilty. "I manage the company for oils."

"Say..." I draw out, with a single finger tracing the poped up vein of his wrist, that was a bit exposed from his full sleeved shirt. "You're a manager?"

"You can say that." He shrugs.

Oh. Fun. I did a happy dance on the inside.

This is what Isa talks about. A daddy guy.

He was definitely a daddy.

I hummed and looked back up at his eyes, biting my lips. "Do you think my Papa would fire you if you took me home tonight?" I whisper.

"What Papa doesn't know, won't harm him." He licks his lower lip in almost in an inviting manner.

I grin, almost like a maniac. I scoot closer to him and my other hand grabs the lapel of suit jacket and I push my face closer to his, he almost smells spicy.

Not in a comforting way but rather ravishing and dangerous.

I softly press my lips to the corner of his mouth.

"You're awfully brave for a little lady." He smirks pulling out his wallet and paying for the drinks and getting.

I grin jumping down from the stool and swaying my hips as I follow Daniel out of the pub.

It was finally going to be the sleep and forget rebound.

Yes. I need this.

I took a deep breath regaining some of the lost confidence, shaking my hair out a bit again, I walk toward a deep red car that Daniel was already unlocking.
