The room was so silent that I could hear the sound of my panicked breath.

The shock hadn't yet left me. I was still replaying the scenes in my head. The sounds of gunshots still echoing around me. And most of all, the question kept bothering me.

Is he okay?

I didn't know what the time is. Or what is going on. Everyone in this room is as silent as I am.

Sometimes the children would cry out in hunger. They'd quite down once their mama fed them and lulled them to sleep.

I sat on the floor. The two couches weren't big enough to fit so many girls, besides the babies needed a place to sleep. They can't be just put on the floor.

Though oblivious to time, I know we've been here quite the time. It must be around dawn or something, nobody has come yet to give us some news about was going on.

It is very rare given that the Estate is the most protected place. It is always guarded and people are always prepared for the worst. How did anyone got in?

Randomly shooting bullets. That's unusual.

With a sigh I stand and walk toward the bathroom to splash water on my face.

"Are you an idiot?" Came the voice.

There we go again.

"Get your stupid baby of the couch." She yells again.

"Miss, please let her sleep. She hasn't slept all night." The mother humbly requests her.

"I don't care!" She shouts again. "I need to sleep. I can't just sit in this stupid floor all night and not sleep. Get your bastard child off the couch." The baby starts crying.

Oh lord!

She is Cara. I don't know by what power she is doing this all night but she's doing it anyway. She's troubling every single person here.

And now she needs the couch.

What is wrong with her? With a sigh I walk out of the bathroom and towards the mother of the baby who Cara was yelling at.

"It's alright. Give her to me." I softly ask the mother. She smiles gratefully.

"Thank you..." She murmurs and looks at me for a name.

"Rosaline." I smile and she does too as she gives me the pink bundle of happiness.

The baby is looking at me with big olive eyes, sucking on her hand. The little tear drops still linger on her eyes. I wipe them with one hand while cuddling her to my chest with the other. "Hey baby." I whisper as I start to pace back and forth on the room, rocking her to sleep.
