This is definitely a terrible idea, but hey, at least he'll know I have nothing left to hide. I fling open the heavy metal door and hold it for London. He looks over the rail and down the many flights of spiraling stairs.

"Dude, are you bringing me down here to kill me? Cause it seems like it's definitely sound proof." He questions, worry spreading across his features.

"I mean there's an elevator, but nobody uses the stairs and it's pretty good exercise." I explain, stepping in front of him and high-kneeing down each stair.

"You know for being the laziest person I've ever met apart from my sister, you seem pretty active about this." He smirks, I glare at him.

"Well, when it comes to my job, it requires lots of physical activity," I pant, feeling the heat in my calves.

"I know something else that would give you plenty of physical activity." London smirks, I pause.

"I thought we agreed to be friends?" I question, confused and incredulous.

"Friends with benefits exists," he offers, I punch him in the shoulder and he smiles, but quickly winces at the pain in his shoulder. "How the hell are you so strong?"

"All will be revealed momentarily," I trail off, returning to my high-knees. He shakes his head and we continue to descend in verbal silence, the only sound filling the stairwell being the sound of our footsteps. After what seems like minutes we finally reach the next iron door. "You ready?" I ask excitedly. A weight feels as though it's being lifted off my shoulders. I'm finally about to tell someone about my career, my violent, bloody career. I put my hand on the oxidized bronze handle and take a deep breath, going into RBF mode. "Oh, and make sure you don't smile unless you're spoken to and someone makes a joke," I order. He quirks an eyebrow at me but I remain deadpan. He raises his eyebrows and gawks.

"How terrible do they treat you here?" I shrug, and fling open the door, I see all my girls and saunter into the room with Class A sass level.

"Well, just know that whatever happens in there, you're in my territory now." I flash him a devilish grin.

"What in the hell are you talking about?" He asks, but before he can continue I turn back around and inhale the scent of old sweat.

"What up fucktards? Kings is back!" I shout. Everyone simultaneously whoops and hollers before coming over to pat me on the back. I see Toni before she sees me, her back is turned and I decide to sneak up on her. I tip toe behind her and grab her shoulder, she tenses and turns to swing me in the face but I grab her fist and twist her other hand around her head so she's facing me. Once she sees who it is she relaxes and a smiles spreads across her face.

"Kings! Where have you been? I heard something happened but I didn't know you'd be out for this long." She greets, bro-style, side-hug handshaking me.

"I got jumped in an alleyway after some guys accused me of an unfair fight after Alex and I fought. Told them they were wrong, still beat the shit out of me cause I wouldn't fork over my check. All better now though, got a real bad gash, but got all stitched up and I think I'm good to take the stitches out today if possible." I glance behind me where London is supposed to be, but instead he's chatting up Violet. Oh shit.

To explain, we as fighters have no problem with Violet. We think that her violent tendencies make her all the better fighter, but to the outside world she comes off as borderline rabid. When you get past the rough exterior she's a wonderful person, who absolutely loves chicken nuggets and bookstores. However on the flip side, she's a bit hardcore when it comes to fuckboys, considering that the whole reason she started fighting was because her fiancé dumped her for a hot blonde that ended up being a one night stand.
