my neighboors were billy hargrove and max mayfield max and i were very close but me and billy have never been close we talked but nothing to long just a short hi and thats it lately hes been acting very weird hes been an asshole to me and often staring at me in class i was in the kicthen and i get a knock on the door i open it and see Max with her skateboard tucked under her arm

"Hey Y/N Um.. the snow ball is tonight and i was wondering can you do my hair?" she asked shy

"Of course i can what time you want me to come over?" i asked looking at her

"Around 6 the snow ball starts around 7" she states

"Ok perfected ill be over" i smiled

"ok great thank you" she says and turns around

"Your welcome" i shut the front door and i start getting dress because i was in my pjs

i put on a floral dress and i put half my hair in a bun and half down i check the time and its 5:57 i decied to walk over to the hargroves i knocked and billy answers he had a buttoned up shirt on but half was buttoned up and his chest was out i looked at his piercing blue eyes

"Um im supposed to do maxs hair for the snow ball" i said looking at my fingers

"Uh come in" he moves to the side

i walk in and max runs downstairs she sees me and grabs my hand and takes me to her room she sits down at her vanity and i started curling her hair i was on the last curl and billy came and was standing on the door frame i finished the curl and i bend down and i look at me and max in the mirror

"You look pretty" i smile and she smiles back

"Thank you" she gets up and she sees billy in the fram of the door

"You look good max" he compilments

"Oh shut it stud" She says walking to her closet to grab her shoes

billys eyes look at me then they shifted to max he then lefted

"Hes only being nice to me because he wants to seem like the perfect brother" Max says getting annoyed

"Oh i dont have any siblings its just me and my parents" i said shrugging

"Only child your lucky you dont have to deal with your sibling shit" max says looking at me

she sits on her bed and was fixing the straps to her shoes

"You know he likes you right?" Max says looking at me

"He..likes me?" i asked

"Yes one night he came home drunk and told me how he felt about you" she says

"Oh" i said shocked

"Do you like him?" She asked

"If this counts every time im near him or talk to him my heart pounds a millon times and i get jelous when other girls talk about him or near him" i said shurgging

"You like himmmmm" she sang

i roll my eyes and giggled

"I guess so" i said looking at max

i decied to go home i walked out of maxs room and in the living room and i opened the front door and billy stops me he grabs my wrist and looks at my eyes

"i heard what you told max" he says my face turns pink

"and i feel the same way" he smiles then he kisses my i put my hand on his cheek and then i brake the kiss
