There was once a little girl, she was 11 years old. It was 2:16am and she was listening to music on her phone and drawing in her notebook. Her window was open from across her mostly pink room. She was a very girly girl. She loved cute stuff and wore things like skirts and dresses all the time.

She looked at the window which was blowing her butterfly curtains inside her room. That's when she heard something was calling out to her. Or rather someone was calling out to her. It seemed to be coming from the woods which her parents told her to never go to. She was always a curious girl and sometimes when needed, rebellious.

So she went. She grabbed her phone and her notebook with a pencil attached to it and she put on her white thin jacket and light blue sneakers and headed out the door while making sure she kept quiet. She stood in front of the woods in which the voice was coming from and decided then that she'd go into the multi-mile long woods that her parents had warned her about. The first step she took into the woods seemed to echo throughout the whole woods. It startled her a little bit but she wasn't backing out now. She knew better than that.

And so she headed in. Still hearing faint whispers from certain directions of the deep and dark woods so she knew which direction to go in to find whatever it was she was looking for. She checked the time on her phone to find out what time it was since she had been walking for quite some time. The clock showed 3:41am. She sighed and stopped walking to look around. She mumbled to herself "I came all this way for nothing, dang."

She exhaled and pulled a lollipop from the pocket of her pajama pants and set it inside her mouth and started walking back the way she came. That's when she was stopped by something touching her shoulder to get her attention. She turned around to see a ghost looking figure. Just slightly taller than herself and she seemed to be wearing a light gray skirt and a tank top with a bunny figure on it. Her clothes looked ripped and stained with a mixture of blood and mud and ripped in some places.

Her face and body had small cuts and bruises scattered across her small freckle-filled body. After a moment of silence she finally asked the ghost girl "did you need something?" The spirit figure looked confused and thought why isn't this girl afraid of me? I'm a spirit aren't little girls supposed to run away? She replied to the little girl "actually yes but first, why are you not scared of me?" The little girl smiled and laughed under her breath and looked back up at the ghost and said "I've learned that if a ghost talks to you it's probably very important and you should listen, it might save your life in the future."

As much as that confused the little ghost girl she continued "okay well then here's your warning..." that intrigued the little girl into what the ghost was about to say. The ghost continued "don't ever come into these woods again." The ghost expected the girl to simply say okay and go back home but alas that did not happen. The little girl said with a straight unfazed face "why should I listen to you? I'm much more scary then anything that might be in these woods. Don't judge a book by its cover lady." She said as she scoffed at the ghost girls ignorance and turned away and started walking in the opposite direction.
