Bang.

The large wooden door of the classroom slammed shut, the sound echoing in the empty room. It was your first day at your new school, and you wanted to be early to avoid walking into a room full of strangers, all staring curiously. Taking a seat in the back corner, you began to play with your hair nervously, worried about the idea of trying to make friends. Confidence was usually one of your strongest traits, but in a new, unknown environment, you felt anything but.

Suddenly, the door opened again, revealing two tall males- one with red hair and the other with black.

"Oh my god. Minhee look." The red-haired boy pointed at you as though you weren't sitting right there and staring directly at them.

"New student! New friend." The one you now presumed was called Minhee replied, the two laughing before running over and sitting in front of you.

Both of them turned their chairs around, facing you with large smiles. Despite the slight feeling of discomfort, you were just happy that people were willing to talk to you.

"What's your name?" Minhee asked eagerly.

"Y/N." You replied quite shyly.

"Well I'm Eunsang, and this is Minhee. It's nice to meet you. Would you like to be friends?" Eunsang smiled genuinely.

"I'd like that, thanks." You returned the smile.

Before they could reply, the door opened again as a flood of students walked through, the bell ringing at the same time. The two males turned their chairs back around to face the front as the teacher walked in.

Lunch came around slowly but as soon as the bell rang, you jumped up from your seat, grabbing your backpack and flinging it on your shoulder.

"Hey, Y/N, want to get lunch with us?" Minhee asked.

"Of course, I'm starving."

The three of you started walking towards the canteen, your stomach grumbling from lack of food. As you walked through the halls, you observed the other students, asking your new friends about them. Once you had paid for your lunch and sat at a table, you decided to ask about the type of people at school.

"So what are the people here like?" You asked, eyebrow raised.

"I'd say everyone gets along with everyone, to be honest. There are obviously groups of friends, and one popular group but other than that everyone is friendly towards one another." Eunsang explained.

"Those ones over there are the popular ones. They are definitely in love with themselves, but you don't have anything to worry about in terms of not getting along with them." Minhee added.

You looked over at the group he had pointed out. There were 8 boys and 5 girls sat around a table, all laughing and smiling. One thing you hated in people was arrogance. Self-confidence was no problem, and you believed everyone should be confident in themselves, but people being in love with themselves to a great extent was something that had always irritated you.

One of the boys caught your attention, instantly coming across as the most egotistical. He did have a perfect face, but whether or not his personality matched that or not, you had no idea. Minhee informed you that his name was Wooseok.

"Oh I almost forgot, there's a party that everyone has on the first day of their last year here, it's a tradition. It's tonight, and Hangyul is hosting it. You have to come, so we'll pick you up at 7, okay?" Eunsang asked, before grabbing your phone and putting in his phone number.
