Chapter 1

I sadly woke up to my alarm going off from my phone. School, yay.

I went and stood at my closet for what seemed like ages trying to find a decent enough outfit to wear.

Once I got that situated, I went and threw my hair up in a messy bun, brushed my teeth, put on very light makeup, then grabbed everything I needed, and went downstairs.

I went and just grabbed myself a banana, then started to walk out of my house, before my mom interrupted me.

"Morgan, are you just not going to say anything to me, now?"

"Mom, I'm going to be late, I have to go!"

I just stood by the door, while looking at her, hoping for her to allow me to leave.

"Fine whatever, have a good first day!"

I just smile at her, then quickly started pacing down the sidewalk, while looking down at my phone to help me with the directions on how to get there.

Once I finally arrived, I walked into the building, looking at all the people talking with all their friends. I sighed slightly, then went to go find my locker. "Just look for 2003 Morgan, that's not that hard..."

When I kept on looking at the locker numbers, I felt myself hit the ground. I then fixed my glasses, then looked up, to see a crowd of people staring and laughing at me.

I blushed in embarrassment, then started picking up my things. That's when I noticed someone was actually helping me.

"Hey, are you alright?"

I looked up and saw a girl holding all of my books in her hands, smiling at me.

"Y-yeah I'm alright. I just don't know exactly how I fell.." I looked at her and laughed slightly.

"Oh, some jerk over there tripped you. Just don't let him bother you. And here's your things." The girl handed me all my books, then points over to a guy, with a bunch of girls surrounding him.

"Thank you. I'm Morgan, by the way.." I smile at her, then took my books and looked at the guy.

"My names Marty, and the guy that tripped you is Elijah. He's the "girl magnet" I guess you could say."

I just nodded at her, then looked at the time on my phone.

"You can come sit with me at lunch if you want! My brother and a couple of mine and his friends also sit with me, but there are nice, I promise!" Marty smiled at me, while we started walking down the hall.

"Sounds good, well I will see you later, Marty!" I smile at her then went to class...
