Chapter 6

When I started walking into their house, I felt a little bit of tension, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Their house was really nice looking, though.

Marty brought me into a bedroom, to which I assumed was Sub's. I looked around at the green accent wall, all of the minecraft and roblox posters, then his computers and his monitors.

Sub then came in with us, and closed the door behind him. I took my backpack off, and put it on the floor against his bed, then put my other books I was holding down beside my backpack.

Marty pulled out Sub's chair, then motioned me to sit in it, so that's what I did. Marty and Sub then sat down on his bed, looking at me.

I am pretty sure that I heard a slight sigh come from Sub, but I did not really think about it much. I was just worried at why they looked so concerned for me. It was just a smack on the face, afterall..

Marty then got slightly closer to me, examining my face. That's when Sub also got close, and rubbed my cheek softly, where Elijah hit me.

"I'll be right back with some ice. It looks like it hurts a lot, so that might help.." Marty got up and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

After watching her leave, I looked back at Sub, who was also looking at me. I didn't even realize that he still had his hand on my cheek, to where I then blushed red.

I heard him laugh a little, then he took his glasses off, then slowly removed the mask from his face, then puts it down beside him, then puts his glasses back on.

He looked up at me and smiles slightly, while fixing his hair. I then looked at him, but without realizing that I was looking into his eyes.

I assume me and Sub were just looking at eachother for a long time, because after a while, I heard the door quickly open.
