Never done a story before pls tell me if something is wrong and how to make it better.

You all know how it started, we where defending an abandoned castle that we had occupied before the Black stone legion arrived, not meny know how we got to that point well better to tell you now then never right?
I whas a part of the Black stone legion, not a big shot but i comanded a few soldiers of my own it whas better then nothing.
I had been with the Black stones for a long time, at least thats what it felt like, even though it was only for one season, i fought in a few wars with the legion granted i my self didnt fight as much as the soldiers i comanded, but after a while i started notecing a few things like how some enemies we never destroyed completely, we left them with enough suplies to get back up on ther feet.
I thought it was strange so i looked in to it and found that the first war i was a part of witch was against a viking clan, a clan i had believed was defeted for good, turns out they had goten stronger since then, but why? why did we leet our enemies get stronger after we defeted them? to what purpose?
Appolyon whas ether a fool or he had a plan that i was not informed of, i looked into who our "great" leader Appolyon was and i found out that Appolyon was a she, i looked more into her and were she came from but i cudn't find here name but i did find out that her village whas raided when she whas a child, not meny survived and those who did fought and killed to survive, i was quite suprised that i knew so litle about our leder.
I followed the Black stones for a while longer and i rose up a rank or two and i finaly got to meet Appolyon, it whas on a battle field against another viking clan, they had previously raided a village that was under our protection and they would pay for it, but not in the way i expected.
It was the first time i had ever seen Appolyon and the first time i had seen her fight and i will never forget it, she was extreamly talented in combat far better then me, she fought three grunts two captains and a raider, she killed them all even took a stab in the side and brushed it off like nothing, it sent chills down my spine.
I was suprised to find out that we were not going to advance our attack but i was even more suprised that we were placing samurai flags and banners in the viking settlement, i cud not ignore it any longer, i had to talk to Appolyon i needed answers.
I walked to her tent but i was stoped by two wardens standing guard the guard to the right put his hand out "stop right there and state your business" the guard looked the exactly the same as the one on the left, half of there helmet was black the other orange, tsk no fashion sense they should have wings on there helmets, "i want to speak to Appolyon" the guard i was talking to went in the tent as i waited outside.
I cud hear mumbling from inside of the tent and then it all went quiet and the warden stepped out "you may enter" i nodded as i began walking in, wen i entered i saw Appolyon siting behind a desk with a map and a few letters on it "Daubeny what brings you here?" i looked at Appolyon and hesitated before answering "i have a few questions" Appolyon stood up from her desk "go on" i never thought i wud be this intimidated by a woman simply standing up "you stoped our advancement and your placingn down samurai flags and banners up, why?" she started walking around her desk "do you know why we attacked this settlement?" i looked confused at her under my helmet "no?" she kept walking up behind me "this is not just any viking village" she took a few more steps before continuing "this settlement is where they keep there food for the winter and what do you think is going to happen wen they see all the food burnet and samurai flags around the settlement?" i didn't answer as she turned towards me "they will be filled with hate, hunger and revenge" i turned towards her "but why not just kill them our selves?" she walked back to her seat and looked at me "because we create war, we the black stone legion are the wolfs of war and i know that there are wolfs among the samurai and vikings, and in this world the sheep will die and the wolfs will thrive" i looked at her trying to proses every thing she said "i see thank you i'll take my leave now" she sat down as i left.
What the hell was she talking about, we create war? Wolfs and sheep? We took an oath to fight for peace and what did she mean by wolfs and sheep we are people, wolfs will kill each other for survival but we don't need to kill each other for survival that's what separates us from the animal.
After what happened i made a plan to leave the Black stone legion, i told my men about my plan to leave the black stones some of them agreed most didn't, i took the men that agreed with me as well as some supplies and money from the black stones, we traveled for a few days until we found the abandoned castle, we settled in and started fixing the castle, it's sad that we never fixed it in its entirety, we were lacking in manpower so i sent out a few grunts to talk to some mercenaries, we offered some money, food, drinks and beds, and it worked, i just didn't think that we wud put them to work so quickly.
