Mr. Blue wiped tears off his face when he thought of his three sons. His wife wasn't much better. So imagine how he felt when he saw his kids in the town square, surrounded by a huge crowd!
"... and there are people who call themselves Rippers, who have each sworn an oath to hunt and kill the Travelers!" Jay said with an ominous air.
"Yeah! And we met this guy who said he was a Ripper, and he tried to KILL Jack!" Jim added.
"No, he tried to kill the Traveler. And he did!" Jack shouted.
"Yeah, he had a blond beard and a top hat."
"With a black tie!"
Mr. and Mrs. Blue realized they had made a grave mistake. Why couldn't I just have trusted the police officers? Mr. Blue shook his head in shame.
His sons described the craziest things, about caves and portals, and even a giant brunch buffet. Most of the citizens scoffed, but when Jack conjured a giant hedgehog, that won most of the crowd over. The craziest part though, was when Jack said this:
"We need to prepare for the coming destruction of our world. If any of you have Traveler potential, we will harness it, and use it to fight the big metal spider-shaped things."
