Unknown POV
AS SHE ENTERED the arena in awe, the deafening sound immediately got to her. She stood there, speechless. She couldn't believe she was finally there, standing in the midst of the crowd after months of waiting in excitement for the night she knew she would always remember. And no, it wasn't prom she was attending.
'Oh gosh', she thought.
The arena was gigantic. No wait, not gigantic. Humongously gigantic. In her entire life, never had she seen an arena this big.
As she impatiently waited for the four gorgeous boys to emerge from behind the curtains, as expected, she began to count down along with the rest of the arena's population.
"Ten... " It was all echoes and screams.
"Nine..." The crowd surrounding the stage became even larger.
"Eight..." The entire arena had gotten exposed to becoming deaf.
She dozed off, and thought, 'this is it'. This was going to be one of the best moments of her life. Gaining awareness of her surroundings once again, she continued, "Two... one!"
The band appeared before her, causing her eyes to go wide in both amazement and shock. They began to sing, creating chaos everywhere around her.
"Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain."
"I leave my heart open but it stays right here empty for days."
"She told me in the morning she don't feel the same about us in her bones."
"Seems to me that when I die these words will be written on my stone."
The already loud noise became even louder by the minute. The many groups of people --- mostly teenagers like her --- began to scream, squeal, and shout out promising words of encouragement and support, while at the same time jumping up and down to the beat of the music. She later did the same.
Time was ticking by and she figured the concert was already halfway finished, so she quickly glanced at her parents, finding a look of boredom written all over their faces. She suddenly felt guilty. Real guilty. She understood why her parents were bored, but she never thought about just how bored they were.
Finally, the screaming, the squealing, and the shouting of the thousands of fans started to subside, just as the exhaustion got to her and her parents. The concert was done, after only an hour.
Swimming through the sea of people towards the exit, she couldn't help but feel proud of the performers. While she stood there, waiting outside, she inhaled the scent of everyone around her. It wasn't a good one.
At last, she glanced up to see the golden brown hair that she had memorized by heart.
The person on the phone behind her --- supposedly named Jamie, as imprinted on the case of her iPhone --- quickly tapped the 'end call' button, and screamed with her mouth wide open, 'there they are!'
From there, she - not Jamie - knew she had to wait patiently once again.
Surprisingly, the guy owning that golden brown hair ignored the screaming fans and walked up to her, entwining his fingers with hers, and then kissed her slowly but passionately on the lips. After five more seconds, he pulled away.
Taking a deep breath, she turned around to face her parents.
A rare look of disappointment was plastered upon their faces. It was a look of complete betrayal. As her mom pursed her lips, she immediately knew her mom was demanding for an explanation.
Once again, she took a deep breath, and stuttered, "mom, dad, this is my boyfriend, James."
