"Sunshine, no that's absolutely too short." I say as we went shopping for my god daughter.

Usually I just give them the money, but since I ain't spent time with her in a while, they practically begged me to join them.

"DJ, no it isn't, go ahead and get it baby." Her mom said.

I sighed. "Thanks ma." She pecked her mother cheek and went off somewhere

"So what's been going on with you?" Sharron asked me and I sighed.

"Nun much, you know me, making money that's all I can pretty much say." I tell her.

"Mhm," She said as she went through clothes on a rack.

"no special someone in your life?" She said with a smirk.

She must've seen my look screen.

I chuckle. "Yeah I got a lil something going on, nothing too deep." I say, I ain't want Sharron all in my business.

"Okay okay. I'm happy for you. It's bout time you found somebody. She treat you good?"

I look at a jumpsuit that might fight royalty and I grabbed it.

"Way better than good."

"You love her?"

"Woah, woah calm down. That's a big ass word, that holds a lot of meaning." I say and look at her crazy.

"Yeah Okay DJ. You didn't answer the question either."

Before I could respond Sunshine came back out.

"It fits."

"Barley." I mumble and Sharron nudges me.

"Okay baby go put it with the other clothes." Sunshine smiles and throws the shirt, if you can even call it that, into my arms.

I looked stupid carrying all this, but this place ain't have no cart.

Ten minutes later, they were finally ready to check out.

"Okay you're total is $375.27." I shrugged that's been then when I shop for my nieces.

"Thanks ma." Sunshine said. She use to call me G-Ma but I felt old as hell, so I just made her call me ma.

"No problem kiddo. What do you say, you and I spend the rest together," I lean down in her ear.

"I want you to meet somebody very special." She smiles up at me once I pull away.

"Yes! I would love that! Mommy can I go?" She asked her mom who was smiling at us.

"Of course baby. I need to rest anyway." She said as she rubbed her growing stomach.

I give her a weak smile.

"Alright, say bye mommy." I pick her up and she waves at her mom.

"Bye mommy I love you."

"Love you too, baby."

We go to a shoe store, where I buy her some tennis shoes, since all her mom buy her is the complete opposite.

I got her four pair, but luckily I know to carry a lot of money, when it comes to shopping with my baby girl's.

"Ma, when are we going to see this "special someone"? " I chuckled, Sunshine was very smart. Almost too smart for her own good.

"Hold on, lemme call to see if she's even free." I say and pull my phone out.

I call Normani and it rings three times before she picks up.
