"Melia, I don't know what to wear." I say to Amelia as if she's actually listening to me.
"Me ed'er mommy." She says and shocks me because I thought she actually wasn't listening to me.
I smirk. "Where do you think you're going tonight?" I ask and turn to look at her.She was laying in the middle of the bed as I was rummaging throughout my closet.
"Wit you and Dizzy." She says with a smile . It almost makes me want to bring her.
"Aww baby this is a grown up dinner." I say and sit down in front of her.
"But- but- where am I goin?" She asked cutely. I kissed her cheek.
"You're going with Sunshine. Remember her?" I asked and go back into my closet to try and find something.
"Dizzy dau'ter." She says and I smile.
"Yes baby girl. But not just her, you're going to meet Dinah's nieces." I say and finally find something I like. I pull it out and keep it to be in the top three.
"I don't know dem mommy." She said and I coo. I lay dress on the bed and pick her up in my arms.
"Well baby they are sweet girls I'm sure. Look it's okay to be afraid to be scared to meet new people, but there gonna love you. Okay?" I asked.
She gave me a shy nod and I kissed her cheek.
"Mommy loves you baby girl, can I have a bear hug." She smiles and wrapped her arms around my neck tightly.
"Amelia loves mommy too."
"Good, now lets get you dressed. You have a play date and Mommy has a hair appointment."
DINAH-
"Normani baby we gotta go! Shit." I mumble the last curse word to myself as I checked my watch.
8:30pm
That's what time our reservations were and haven't even left the house yet.
"I can't find my shoes!" I groan, as I stand up and go into her room.
"Mani. What color are the shoes ?" I asked with a slight attitude. I was already hungry.
"Green, but like a olive green. You know not-"
"Yeah baby I got it. Thank you." I say giving her Neyo smile.
After five minutes, we found her shoes and she was ready.
"Okay that's it right, you got yo purse, and shit. Because I ain't turning around." I said as I opened her passenger door to get in my G-wagon.
"Yes Dinah." Normani said and rolled her eyes.
I put the car in reverse, and move out the driveway.
"So where we going?" Normani asked.
"Um it's kinda like where we went on our first date, remember?" I say.
Normani smile. "Of course, I can't forget our first date. Nick and Stef."
I smirk and rub her thought gently.
"What you wanna do for our eight month anniversary?" I asked.
"Baby, we don't have to celebrate that." She says with a pout.
"Yeah, I ain't ask you that. So what you wanna do? We can go overseas or some shit."
She gasped lightly. "Baby. Really?"
