Three weeks later

I woke up and looked over at my clock and turned the alarm off, it was 4:00 in the morning. I walked downstairs to make breakfast for me and Kaydence, I made some eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and hash browns. By the time I was done, it was 5:20 time her wake her up. I walked upstairs to her room, "baby wake up" I said as I opened her curtians to let the sunlight in. "Mama it's to early" she said whining, "babe I know but you have to get ready for school".
She sighed and got up, "get ready for school then come downstairs". I said she nodded and walked into her bathroom that was connected to her room. 30 minutes later she was downstairs eating at the table. "I'm bout to go get dressed when I get done we gone leave". I said getting up putting my plate and coffee cup in the sink, "okay mom" she said as she scrolled through her facebook. I walked upstairs to my room and got dressed for my first day at work.
I put my purple scrubs with butterflies, and grabbed my white lab coat. I grabbed my phone, purse and badge after putting my all black scetchers on. I walked downstairs, "you ready"? I asked looking at the time it read 6:13 I had 23 minutes to get her to school. "Yeah" she said grabbing her backpack and the keys walking out the door. I got to the car after turning the lights off and locking the door. "See you all ready to go" I said getting in the car and putting it in park since she already started the car. "Yeah i am, its my first day can you blame me".
I laughed at her, and less than 5 mintues later we were in front of her school. "bye mom love you" she said getting ready to grab her things. "I get off at 9 so here is a key, there is money in the cookie jar next to the fridge. Order you whatever you wanna eat, keep the doors locked-" she cut me off, "I know mom don't let anyone else in yadayadayada I know the routine" she said opening the door, I chuckled at her "okay baby love you" I said as we leaned in for a hug.
"Later mom" she said as he got out the car and ran inside, I sighed and pulled off to get to work. I pulled up to the hospital and parked my car then got out. I walked inside the building and walked to the front desk, "hello how may I help you"? A nice Puerto Rican lady with long jet black hair, and hazel eyes, and nice size boobs that you could see poking through her blue scrubs. "Hi my name is Geneva Quincy I'm the new head of cardio I'm looking for the Chief Williams office". I said she nodded.
"Okay that's on the 5th floor when you get up there, then you are gonna make a right. Then go down that hallway till you get to a door that has his name on it". She said I nodded and followed her directions, once I got off the elevator I accidentally bumped into someone, "oh my goodness I am so sorry". I said "you're fine" this beautiful light skin lady said. She stood at about 5'8, has curly hair, with purple streaks, she has a nice shape. Defined curves and freckles she was really pretty. "You're really pretty" I said.
"Thank you girl, you are too" she said smiling at me, I walked and went down the hall and seen the name 'Gordon Williams'. I knocked on the door, "come in" someone said from the other end. "Hey Geneva, how you liking it here? You settled in alright"? He asked "I like it and yes we were unpacked the day we got here" I said he nodded. "well here are your keys, let me take you to your office". He said handing me a set of keys and walking out the door.
We went to the fourth floor and came to a door with my name printed on it, I smiled. "Thank you" I said we walked in and 4 people were in there including the girl from earlier. "Guys here she is" Chief said "Hi Im Doctor Marcos head of Orthopedics" a handsome tall mexican said, he stook his hand out and I shook it. "I'm Doctor Towns head of Pediatrics" a blonde haired white women said shaking my hand. "I'm Doctor Roberts, we met earlier I am the head of Neurology" the women from earlier said. "I am Doctor Fredricks head of trauma" a short black man said shaking my hand.
"My name is Doctor Quincy" I said, "well welcome to the team" Dr.Towns said "well let her get settled and make sure her residents are prepared and ready". Chief Williams said they all nodded and left out the room. Let the games begin!!!!
