"Mom my room is HUGE"!! Kaydence said running down the steps, I chuckled, we arrived here 20 minutes ago. I didn't even get in the driveway good and she bolted out the door and into the house. We were on the road for a day and 10 hours, the movers arrived here before we did. "Hello ma'am" one of the guys said coming up to me, "I just need to verify we have the right person, you are Geneva Quincy correct"? He asked "yes that's me, do you need my ID"? I asked reaching in my purse for my wallet.
"Yes please" he said I grabbed my wallet out my purse then grabbed my ID. "Here you go" I said handing it to him, "thank you" he said handing it back. "Well just tell us where you want it and then we can be out of your hair" I chuckled "thank you" I said walking inside the house. I sat my purse down and grabbed my phone out so that I can call the cable people. "Hello you've reached Direct TV my name is Brenda, how may I assit you today". The lady answered.
"Hello Brenda, my name is Geneva Quincy. I just moved down to LA yesterday, I was calling to get my cable and internet set up." I said "Okay, give me your address and I can have someone to you in about 2 hours". She stated "okay my address is 6129 Wilibee Court 84780" I said, I heard typing on the other and of the phone. "Okay we actually have someone in your area so they should be at your house in about an hour". I nodded as if she could see me, "okay thank you". I hung up the phone.

After the movers helped me with my furniture and everything was where they needed to be, the cable people came and went. "mom I LOVE the house" Kay said plopping on the couch next to me. "You do"? I asked as she snuggled closer to me, "yeah it's nice, sndand I love my room". She said with a huge smile on her face. "you want some chinese food"? I asked her getting up off the couch. "Yeah that sounds good" she said as she grabbed the remote to the tv and began to channel surf, "oh mom Law And Order: SVU is on".
That's our favorite TV show, "put it on" I said as I called China A Gogo. After ordering the food I sat down and watched the movie with her. "Ma someone is at the door" Kaydence said, I got up and grabbed my wallet out my purse and answered the door. "Hi, 52.38" the chinese man said holding the white plastic bag, with the word 'Thank you' on it. "I handed him the exact amount, and grabbed the bag. I closed the door and placed the food on the counter. "Come eat Polka" she came dashing in the kitchen.
"Oh my god, she was the one that did it. She seemed innocent" Kay said once the killer was reavelaed. "Girl those the ones you gotta look out for". I said laughing at how shocked she was, "dang mama she killed her own baby" she said shaking her head getting up to put her cup and plate in the sink. I did the same and laid back down on the couch, "I'm getting sleepy mom im gonna go lay down" she said walking over to me giving me a kiss on the forehead. "night baby girl, love you".
I turned off the tv and the lights downstairs, then headed upstairs. I checked on Kaydence, she was knocked out cold. I walked down to my room and walked in my bathroom, I brushed my teeth and changed into some pajamas. I plugged my phone into the charger and turned the Tv on. I laid down in my bed and sighed, this is gonna be a great change for all of us, we needed this new change. I just pray nothing messes this up.
