Bakugo was always the strongest. The other men in his tribe tried but they could never seem to beat him in anything. Wether it be fighting or intelligence, Bakugo always came out on top. Maybe it was because of his constant superiority that he was always bored. Everything he needed or wanted was handed to him by all others, they had even given him the throne to their country in hopes of appeasing him and using his strength for war.

Maybe all of the stress from having to be their 'perfect king' is what led to him needing a release, Either way he decided he had to leave. For how long he was unsure, but it had to be done. With a joyous festival to wish him well he left early the next morning, stepping over the drunken bodies of his tribesmen.

Walking through the forest Bakugo enjoyed the freedom he felt. No prying eyes watching his every move. Sitting under a tree for a quick rest, he enjoyed the view of a large lake before him, the crystal clear water untouched by any man. Deep in the water he could faintly make out mer-folk chasing each other around and just having fun.

'Why can't the barbarians do that, just relax and have some fun.' As he continued to admire the mer-folk a deafening roar filled the sky, startling the nearby birds and making them take flight. Jumping up Bakugo's hand instinctively went to the sword on his hip. The roar causing his body to release adrenaline to prevent the rush of fear he felt.

That was a dragon.

Ignoring every logical thought he had to run away, Bakugo ran towards it. This is what he wanted, something exciting. Even if this dragon killed him he didn't care, it just meant it was his time to meet his maker.

Halfway round the lake Bakugo could smell the smoke, thick and putrid. Following the strong smell of burning sulfur he came across a tall stone tower.

'Strange' he thought to himself, 'I should have noticed this before.' Looking up Bakugo could see the mighty beast, and from afar he was excited. His brain making up scenarios where he beat the dragon to a pulp after a hard battle.

Finding a door he kicked it a few times till it opened. Taking out his saber he cut away at the growing plants as he climbed the winding stairway. The higher he went the louder the roar was, and the more Bakugo faltered.

The roar was so deafening by the time he reached the top Bakugo had to stop for a bit. Placing a hand on the wooden door in front of him he stood there for a bit, he could feel the Dragon's roar like waves of power reverberating through his body.

Tightening his grip on his sword he threw the door open and faltered at the sight.

At the far end of the room cowered a red and white haired man in blue clothing. Between the two of them stood the dragon, unaware of Bakugo's presence. The dragon let of another roar and the hetorochromatic haired man cowered back in fear.

"Oi you shitty lizard, fight me!!" Bakgugo roared, brandishing his sword for the creature to see. The dragon turned around slowly, as if it wasnt taking him seriously.

Its yellow eyes scanned Bakugo up and down before raising its wings and baring its fangs. Bakugo shivered at the sight of its almost bottomless looking maw.

Trying to move towards he dragon Bakugo found himself stuck from fear.

Him, the great King Bakugo, was scared.

The dragon hissed at him again and backed away slightly, constantly keeping its teeth bared.

Finally finding his limbs Bakugo took a step towards the dragon and in turn the dragon took another step back. The twin haired man kept out a squeak as the red creature got even closer to him.
