'It is only through the degradation of the soul that you can know who you really are; when all else is stripped away, leaving you bare.'

'

Livia Wazen: black sheep of the Wazen family, caught up in her own drama, 'call you out on your bullshit' type, unconcerned with her reputation, secretly a softie.

Julian Reed: joker of the crew, undeniably friendly, defined by his family's scandals in an elite society, shamelessly genuine, weighed down with constant guilt.

They might not share a lot, but they have one thing in common: they once lost everything.

'

This is a story about two souls on a journey of redemption, who happen to meet along the rocky road.

Minor details about the story:

-Main character Livia Wazen is half-Lebanese (Lebanon is an Arab country in the middle east) half-Canadian, that's why the family name might be weird.

guide for pronunciation: Wazen --> W/ae/zen , like the a in the word 'bad'.

-Not all Arabs are Muslim and not all Arabs are religious -if you didn't already know this and might be confused about the character's background and attitude.

-Racist comments are prohibited, if you have a problem with any ethnicity, don't bother reading and spreading hate.

-The story features other couples who will get their own story later.

-There will be important topics discussed in the story from characters' own perspective like atheism, veganism, mental health problems, religion, feminism-

So please respect ALL opinions, as they are part of the characters and the way they think.

-I won't cast the characters because honestly, it's better if you just imagine them and I don't want to set unrealistic standards.

-There will be sexual scenes, you can read if you're 14+ maybe? 15+?

Whatever you're gonna read it anyway.

-Note that the characters are developing and slowly changing; redemption isn't easy, there will be steps forward and steps back. Be patient.

-Finally, enjoy and hope you love the characters in this story as much as I do.

They're like my babies.

you guys are also like my babies. a bit older than babies i guess.

Much love, xoxo.
