Hermione
Hi. I'm Hermione Morgan, probably the only one to start with a proper introduction. But that's just me. This is my Eros deity. She is an imaginary guardian angel that checks up on my sex life all the time if she's not being a total ass to me. She looks like the chibi version of me in a blue kimono that reminds me of the cloudless morning sky. She'll pop up every now and again to shame me. (Sup?) That's her. She's helping me to lose my virginity to a boy since really, I like girls. Hopefully, I'll find one this year. (Good luck trying.) There's a new girl in school, but she's way too pretty and too tall. I'm guessing she's one of those emo creeps that give me nightmares with their heavy metal crap. (This is why I hate you, Hermione.) Its not everyday you see someone driving a black car and wearing full black in this heat. I tried talking to her but she was being really rude. She's also in my art class which is just awesome cause I really want to see how artistic she can get. Most of the boys are drooling over her and secretly, I am too. I mean, she's the hottest girl I've ever seen! (That's what you say about most girls.) Yes, but she takes the cake. Amazing face, caramel skin, a lovely bust and that generous behind of hers....damn! She's like the perfect pornstar. But she's not interested in the guys falling at her feet nor the girls that aren't afraid to show interest. Maybe she's asexual? (So...your afraid?) Yes. So many around her but she's not focused on any of them. (She's not you, Hermione.) I heard her say she's into sports. It goes well with her towering height. (OK, enough of her. Jesus Christ!)
It was almost lunch time so I took that opportunity to use the restroom. I'm glad it was empty. I checked my image in the long wall mirror above the taps. I looked like a regular everyday simple girl. (Because of you, I'm stuck with these large out of style glasses. Can't you wear lenses like a normal human being?) Ignoring you. I was about to leave when in came the queen of the school, Maya Nial. I hate her so much. She has made every year of school a living hell for me. (And I get to kick Maya's Eros's ass while she's at it.) I think she intends on making this year hell for me as well. At that moment, I wished a hole would just appear and swallow me whole.
"Hm. Look what I found," Maya grinned.
(This should be fun to watch.) Stupid Eros. She's a bigger bully than Maya. (Fuck you.) Language!
"I was just leaving, please, excuse me." I commented politely, eyes set on the white tiled floor. Maybe she has changed. (Seriously?)
"Sure. You can leave...but without these." Before I knew it, she snatched my glasses from my face. Everything became a blur after that. Without my glasses, I'm as blind as a bat. (I told you to wear lenses.) "Now get down on your knees and beg for it."
I want to fight. (Do it!) I want to cry. (*face palm* idiot.) I wish I'd die right there. Slowly, I got onto my knees and lowered my head in complete embarrassment. (This is what happens when your a dumb nerd. What's the black belt in your trophy case for?) That is not cool, Eros. No one should be bullied. Yet here I am. I couldn't see them, but I heard them loud and clear, laughing at me.
"M...may I...may I please have... My glasses back?" I was shaking now, and tears spilled from my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. (Your useless. I got a fight with Maya's Deity. Where is that little...get back here!) Last time, I had to lie to my parents about the bruises I had. I told them it was because I joined the Dodge ball team when really, Maya had beaten me in the showers.
"Pathetic. Start stripping." Maya hissed. I hesitated but that only got me a sharp pain in my chest....probably from her heels, that made me land on my back. By now, the tears were flowing freely both from pain and embarrassment. I began taking my jacket off and dropped it to the floor beside me. Fumbling with the buttons on my shirt only made me feel more ashamed.
"Morgan? What the fuck are you doing down there?" That voice! I know that voice, but I was too confused and caught up in feeling sorry for myself that I couldn't even think properly.
"Its non of your business, newbie. Get out." Maya seemed annoyed by the intrusion. While she's distracted, I blindly searched for my clothes, but only got another kick. Once more, I fell backwards hurting my back a little. "I never said you could move!"
"Oh...I see what's going on here." The owner of the voice seemed suddenly solemn. I heard a loud thud next. Someone must've hit one of the stall doors pretty hard. I wanted so much to tell the person to just go cause I'm used to it. "You know what I hate about bullies?" Another thud. "Everything."
I wish I could see what's going on.
"Let me go," Maya cried out. Is that fear I hear in her voice? I never thought she had the ability to be scared.
"Give those to me. Next time I see you messing with anybody at all, I will make you wish your mother kept her legs closed. Understand?" The stranger was calm, which was actually sick. Her threat sounded as if she was just randomly telling you the weather. (What did I miss?) Where were you?! (Shit! Its that girl!) What girl?
I heard shuffling, shaky, rapid steps, a door being opened hastily then slammed shut. Then I could see as the new girl fitted my glasses to my face. Her own was beyond magnificent! Seeing her this close, I could make out the galaxy of dark freckles sprinkled across her cheeks and nose and her silvery white eyes that practically creep me out. I guess she retrieved my glasses.
(Never has anyone ever stood up for you. Your cared about after all.) Ignoring Eros, I took my clothes from her outstretched hand and hurriedly tried to put them on but she got up and turned her back to me so I didn't have to feel embarrassed about her eyes on me. She's so amazing. I don't know anyone who would stand up to the queen of the school like that. Maybe the mean girl has finally met her match. That's when I noticed her left hand was bleeding.
"Your hurt!" I exclaimed, rushing to take a look. Her knuckles were chipped.
"Relax. Its nothing," she answered calmly, pulling her hand out of my reach. (Don't fall for her, Hermione.) Shut up, Eros.
"But...your bleeding!"
"I said its fine."
With that, she walked put of the bathroom, leaving me to collect my thoughts and my dignity. (If you have any left.) There was a hole in one of the bathroom stall doors...a dent, actually. Did she punch it? For me? (I don't believe it either.)
There goes the lunch bell. I guess its time for me to walk the halls of hell again because I know Maya isn't going to let this slide. I'm not prepared for another heel in chest episode, speaking of which, there's an oncoming dark purple bruise in my chest.Corey
Poor girl. I don't think she has any friends at all. It was lunch time and I watched her fearfully walk into the cafeteria and sat alone, looking over her shoulders. I remember when I was like her. Well, I still have no friends but that's okay with me. Hopefully, she won't result to what I was before I became what I am now. (I don't like her Eros.) That's your problem. I'm worried about her safety so I made my way over out of the cafeteria but still remaining in a spot where I can keep an eye on her. I have nothing to do anyway. So far, she's fine but very uneasy. Dies she expect that prep to come and do something to her? As I walked towards the exit, I could sense someone inching purposefully towards me. I grabbed his hand before it could touch my butt and bent it pass its limits so he could cry out in pain.
"You don't want to try that," I commented calmly. I have no time to waste on shit like this so I shoved him into a nearby table. The group of boys he returned to was laughing their heads off. I don't blame them.
After school, I walked onto the football field for trials. The coach was looking at me like...a girl on trial for football? (I'd think your nuts.) Thank you, Eros.
The boys were making fun of me, but I paid no attention to them as I stepped up. The coach began questioning me and was beyond surprised I knew so much about football. I took a ball from the rack and stopped at the fifty yard line. Stepping back, I threw the ball towards the touch down line, landing a perfect score. Everyone had an unbelievable expression on their faces. The coach signed me up for quarterback position immediately. I could play defence as well but I prefer not to hurt any body. Coach decided to test me. It was me against a team of the original players, which is actually too easy when I look at it. I wasn't suited up like they were but that was never a problem. I slid between the first male, right between his open legs and was back on my feet in no time. After getting through the left backers and a tight little defence, I made it...almost. There was this guy blocking my way to victory and he was much bigger than the others and taller. The stance he too spoke volumes of how strong he actually was, but he wasn't much taller than me. It was frustrating! Right as he was about to grab hold of me, I pulled my right hand back and settled a punch in the wires of his helmet, knocking him to the ground. I ran right over the touch down line, dropping the ball on the neatly trimmed field. I live for football.
"Impressive. That punch would've lost us some points...but that single man...er...woman touch down was incredible," the coach commented excitedly after the team and several new kids settled in for the results meeting. "Anyways, we've got our QB in tact. Welcome to the team Steinfield."
I was pretty excited. The boys weren't happy about a girl on their team but non was brave enough to even say hi to me. The guy I punched was in the nurse's office so I went to check on him. The dented helmet on the table beside him had blood on it and no actual use anymore. (Its so like you to leave a body everywhere you go.) At least I didn't kill him.
