Ch 1: First Encounters

The silver moon shone down on the town of Kuoh. Everything is perfectly normal and average in this town... is what you would first think, but in actuality this town is a hot spot for supernatural activity. Not Ghosts or Vampires, Ghouls nor Goblins, but infact Devils.

Y/N POV

As I looked down on the town from the top of an abandoned house I held my gaze on a rather run-down church.

Me: 'Why did I have to stuck with this on my day off, I should be relaxing right now. Oh well let's get this done already.'

I then jumped my way down to the doors of the church and swiftly kick them open, sending them flying off their hinges. I then look up to see a white haired man with a rip off lightsaber looking at me in shock.

Me: "Hey, you're that rogue exorcist, Freed Selzen right?"

Freed: "What if I am and who the hell are you?!"

Me: "The name's Y/N and I'm just here to pick up some 'associates' of mine." I responded in a rather bored tone.

???: "What's with all the noise up he-?!" a rather short blonde girl in a frilly dress yelled at Freed but then stopped in both shock and fear as she saw me.

Y/N: "Oh hey Mittlet, remember me?"
I said to her with a short wave.

Mittlet: "Why are you here?! How did you find us?!" the young looking girl practically screamed in terror.

Y/N: "Hey it's not like I want to be here, today's supposed to be my day off, but because you idiots can't do your job right I have to come and clean up your mess!" I shouted obviously frustrated.

Freed apparently got bored of being ignored and started to run at me with his sword.

Freed: "I've got you now kid!" He shouted just before bringing his sword up for a downward slash on me.

Y/N: "Too slow" I said, not even flinching as a spear flew out of nowhere and slammed him in the gut with it's pole, sending him off into the distance.

Mittlet: "I have to tell Raynare!!" she told herself as she hurried down to the basement.

I just sighed and followed her after a moment.

As I made my way downstairs I saw a few things that would make any normal person think this was the home of a crazy cult. The first would be the tons of robed exorcists filling the place, the second would be the dim lighting of the underground room and the third and most disturbing part would be the Young blonde girl tied to a cross, she looked to be barely conscious right now.

After seeing the girl and making my way to the bottom of the stairs I got the attention of Mittlet and her companions. I knew them already as Raynare, Kalawarner and Dohnaseek.

Y/N: "Seriously you guys, you had two jobs. Watch the boy and bring the girl back to us, instead I hear you killed the boy and now I see you about to crucify the poor girl!"

Raynare: "OH Y/N! Um we were just following orders honest, you can leave now." the leader of the bunch said obviously nervous.

Dohnaseek: "Yeah it's not like we were going to steal here Sacred Gear or anything." He the said very obviously lying through his teeth.

Raynare: "DOHNASEEK YOU IDIOT!!!" she screamed at her fadora wearing underling.

Y/N: "Welp, that sure saved me the trouble of working out your plan. Thanks for that."

Raymare: "You won't stop us! You three hold him off until I finish the ritual!" She said before flying over to the Cross.

Y/N: "OK then, my orders were to bring one of you back at the least, along with the girl of course. So that being said..." I told them before my spear flew straight through Dohnaseek's gut, turning him into a pile of black feathers.

Kalawarner: "Y-YOU KILLED HIM!!"

Y/N: "Yep sure did, and unless the two of you wanna be next I'd suggest surrendering." I warned.

Mittlet and Kalawarner: "OK WE SURRENDER!!" the pair replied almost immediately.

Y/N: "Good, now go wait outside until I finish up down here." I told them.

The pair then ran upstairs as fast as they could, as to not meet the same fate as their comrade. I then made my way to Raynare and the now unconscious girl while my spear made quick work of the exorcists for me.

Y/N: "Sup Rayray, you ready to go home or do I have to make you?" I asked in a playful manner.

Raynare: "N-no I won't lose here, I will take Twilight Healing and make Azazel prou-!!" she was then cut off by my spear knocking her unconscious.

Y/N: "And that's why I don't like monologues, too many openings. Oh well, let's get you down from there shall we?" I asked the now unconscious girl rhetorically before bringing her down and placing her over my shoulder. I grabbed Raynare by the foot, dragging her across the floor and up the staircase.

When I made my way out I saw the remaining members of Raynare's team waiting for me. I then made a magic circle to take them back to base for punishment underneath their feet, then throwing Raynare on it and sending them away.

Y/N: "Well glad I got that done before any devil's showed up, now that would be a pain." I thought aloud.

???: "Put Asia down you bastard!!" I heard someone shout from the entrance of the church.

Y/N: "and I jinxed myself, of course I did." I said before turning around to see the one shouting.

???-2: "I suggest you listen to my Pawn here, Fallen one." A red headed girl said gesturing towards the boy who shouted at me, while trying to sound threatening.

Y/N: "Yeah, no. She's coming back with me where she'll be safe and sound." I explained completely unfased by them.

???-2: "You will do as I say as you are in my territory, I am the Rias Gremory." she smugly tells me, sounding like a spoiled little girl.

Y/N: "Yeah I know who you are, I just don't care. Plus I don't think you should threaten me, little red riding head." I retort.

Rias: "and why is that you lowly Fallen?" she responded quite confidently.

I moved the girl who I now knew as Asia down so I was holding her by the waist.

Y/N: "Because... YOU'RE OUTCLASSED!!!" I respond before spreading my wings, six in total.

Rias: "S-six wings... impossible." she said in complete shock.

Y/N: "Well if that's all, I'll be on my way then. See ya!" I said with a wave before leaving via magic circle.
