Andrew's POV
"Babes wake up," I whispered. Asia was spending three days at my house because her parents went on vacation. I loved having Asia around to be honest. She was like no other girl I've dated-and trust me, I've dated so many other girls. We been going out for four months now, and I know that's probably nothing, but it's something to me. Unlike Asia, this was my first serious relationship. I didn't want anything to go wrong with her.
"Is it morning yet?" She moaned. I nodded as I wrapped my arms around her slim, but perfect waist.
"I don't wanna go home Drew...my legs hurt."
"That's fine with me," I smiled. She eventually got up and got ready. I let her use the shower first while I stayed in bed watching TV. As much as I wanted to go into the shower, I calmed myself. Asia was holy holy hallelujah. I really don't know how I've been able to deal with her. She didn't let me sex her up or do some oral to her. She was all about kissing and cuddling and grabbing. No dick, or no fucking. It frustrated me, but I learned to deal with it.
"You almost done?" I asked. I was peaking into the shower, listening to the water slowly but loudly hit the floor.
"Almost," she said, "are you in here baby?" I laughed, and quickly got out. If she found out I was tryna sneak up on her in the shower she would terminate kisses from me.
School was going to start in a couple of days. I hated school because it meant I wouldn't see Asia as much. She was a sophomore and I was junior. The only thing we would probably have together was lunch and lunch was only 30 minutes long. After school wouldn't work because I was playing varsity this year which meant practice was gonna be extra long. Last year's football season wasn't good. Our record was 2-13-4 last year, so coach was going to be up on our asses. He knew we was way better then that.
Asia played soccer, I don't know what she saw in it, but I always supported her. She wasn't that good, but shit I gassed her up. Told her she was gonna be in the World Cup and everything. I loved Asia! Why would I tell her different?
Once she was out the shower, she grabbed her towel. "I have soccer today choco." That was her nickname for me. I don't know why she called me that when I was a pure lightskin.
"You starting today or nah?" I teased. She never started because she wasn't that good (as I said before), but that don't mean she ain't get play time.
"I don't know, probably not. What you tryna say?" She punched me.
"That's posted to hurt?"
"You not funny," she hated when I teased her but I loved to see her little angry face pop up.
"You know I'm just playing babes. You going to World Cup so don't even stress. Yall got a scrimmage?"
"No, just practice. But thanks choco." She stood on her tippy toes kissing my cheek.
"Love you, I'll see you later."
Asia's POV
I didn't want to go to practice today, but if I wanted to be captain for JV this year I had to put in a hundred and ten percent. I've been playing soccer since freshman year and I really do like it. I mean, it's not my priority, but I like it.
Andrew was going to go hang with his nasty bestfriend VJ who I hated. I don't tell him, but he probably knows. He tried to play one of my friends so you know how that goes. Mess with one of my girls, you messing with me.
A couple of months ago when me and Andrew started dating, VJ tried everything in his power to break us up. It was annoying. I mean VJ is prettier then Andrew, but his attitude sucks. He conceited, and think he could get any girl. Well he can't get me, and I mean that.
When I got to practice, I started doing my three laps. Today was the day they told who was going to be on JV and who was going to be on varsity. After laps, we did calisthenics. After that, we worked on passing and after passing we worked on shooting. My shots was always in. Our goalie was bomb dot com too! So you know coach was always saying something to gas my head.
When we were done doing all of that, coach told us the kids on JV. "Just because you're on JV does not mean you aren't good enough to be on JV. It just means I feel you are comfortable here." She said all the names, "....Abigail, Carla, Nicole, Patience, Lucy, and so on." She ain't say my name though. "Captain for JV will be Amanda. Amanda will be playing on JV and Varsity. Let's give Manda two claps please!" We clapped.
Everyone accept me. I was not about to clap for some chick who took my position. I worked hard to be captain this year. Amanda didn't even play last season! She new.
Later on, I realized that I was playing for varsity this season. I was too hyped because varsity get to much, but it is what it is. At least I can brag to choco that I play on varsity just like him.
After practice, coach called me. "Asia you did great today. Were you practicing before the season?"
"Yeah why?" I was not interested in the conversation whatsoever.
"Well watching you today, I was thinking..."
"About?"
"Would you like to be co-captain for varsity?" I looked at her. Co-captain? Varsity? Hell yeah I wanted to do that! Anything to put on my resume.
"Yes coach, I would love too." I smiled.
"Good, tomorrow will be practice...but all captains are excluded. See you on Monday."
Author's POV
This season was going to be good. Asia was co-captain for varsity. Andrew and her were strong as ever, and school was about to start. Her life was exactly how she dreamt about it, but little did Asia know that this little fairytale was about to take a horrific end. Sometimes you think the people closest to you are the ones wishing you good, but most of the time it is those you keep close that wreck what you love the most.
