End of the Stars #1 Lightning Storm

Chapter 2

MoonKit looked up at the starry SilverPelt rising in the sunset sky. One more moon, and she would be an apprentice. VenusFur came over to her, "I hope I'll be your mentor!", She said. MoonKit smiled at her then started into her thoughts again.  "MoonKit? It's time for you to go to sleep", BluePool called to her. "Have fun at the gathering!", MoonKit called to VenusFur as she went into the nursery. MoonKit felt like water was lapping over her as she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep. MoonKit awoke in a very dark place, She could hear thunder booming off in the distance and lightning shooting down trees. Then lightning shot MoonKit, and she started growing pitch black, wings? It started to rain and the lightning kept crackling in the sky, the only light source MoonKit had. Her tiny wings weren't enough to carry herself. Then, when another lightning struck the ground, She saw a dark brown tabby she-cat, with green eyes staring down at her and grinning. "Welcome to the Dark Forest, DarkKit", the she-cat said. MoonKit looked down at herself to see her moon signs were black. "I-I", MoonKit started then she felt the evilness spark in her making her heart stop. "When will we start training?", DarkKit asked. "Right away", The she-cat said. "Whats your name?", DarkKit asked. "I'm LeafShade, SilverPelt's sister", LeafShade said. "From now on, till you receive your true Dark Warrior name, you will be DarkPaw", LeafShade said. "And I will be your mentor", LeafShade added. DarkPaw stared in amazement at LeafShade and unseathed her claws. "Lets train", She said, as an evil grin spread across her face.

MoonKit was back in the Nursery with BluePool beside her sleeping. MoonKit felt like LeafShade understood her, more than anyone else, but she couldn't control herself, for some reason. MoonKit turned to see her wings were gone, and her moon signs were white again. "This kit is named LightKit, That's the only word he said when I found him", Said a voice that sounded like BloodStripe. "This must be the kit from the prophecy that was sent by StarClan", BlizzardPaw and BrambleStar said. MoonKit got up and looked around the nursery. Then she saw black and white fur speed across around MoonKit. "LeafKit? What are you doing?", MoonKit asked as she looked at her curiously. "Today were becoming apprentices!", LeafKit yowled. "You mean, you and IceKit?", MoonKit asked. "Yea, well, I heard BrambleStar say that you should star't training early", She squeaked. Then MoonKit got excited! "He did?", MoonKit squeaked. "No, I was just trying to make you happy", LeafKit said. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey please gather under the highledge for a clan meeting", BrambleStar called. EveryCat started to come out of their dens and sit below the highledge. MoonKit padded out and sat down. "LeafKit, RockKit, OtterKit, IceKit, please step up", He said. BrambleStar did the code thing and the apprentices received their mentors. MoonKit yawned and padded to the fresh-kill pile. "I'm not done yet", BrambleStar said. MoonKit flicked her ear. "We have found a kit named LightKit. A she-cat named GoldenFrost gave him to us and said he was kin to StreamKit and MoonKit", BrambleStar said turning to MoonKit, while StreamKit was bouncing up and down. "MoonKit is one moon ahead of them. I ask BluePool, if you except this kit", BrambleStar said. "Yes, I will take care of him along with my other kits", She said.
