The rain started to get lighter as the sunlight started to flare back down on the camp and MoonKit. Drops of rain was dripping from leaves and the rocks. The sunlight was making the drops look like different colors. MoonKit climbed down the rocks into the camp. No one seemed to noticed she was gone. MoonKit felt a soft breeze brush against her pelt, then she suddenly felt fear come into her soul.
"The moon will be the only light source, till the light reveals blood of fangs and claws and dead cats", said a voice. MoonKit shivered as she saw the moon, then blackness covering it. The sun suddenly came out of no where and MoonKit saw blood revealed on trees, grass, everywhere... She stared in horror as a cat was in front of her hissing.
MoonKit saw that the surrounding was normal now. "All cats old enough to catch there own prey, please gather underneath the highledge for a clan meeting", Called BrambleStar. MoonKit padded over to the highledge. "MoonKit, StreamKit, you have reached the age of six moons old,", BrambleStar said. MoonKit jumped up with excitement, but surprisingly BluePool was behind her, licking MoonKit and StreamKit, then she backed away. "MoonKit, from now on, till you receive your warrior name, you shall be MoonPaw. VenusFur, this is your first apprentice, I know you have recently become a Warrior, but I feel that you are the right mentor. Pass your skills down to this apprentice", He said. "StreamKit, from now on till you receive your warrior name, you shall be StreamPaw. BloodStripe, you have courage and the fighting skills to train this young fine apprentice, pass these skills", BloodStripe touched her forehead with StreamPaw as MoonPaw did the same with VenusFur. "What will we do first?", MoonPaw asked her mentor. "I'll show you around the camp, then we can hunt till it gets dark", VenusFur said.
"Just like that! Now, keep your tail still, try not to make any noise, and see if you can scent prey", VenusFur ordered MoonPaw. MoonPaw listened for any prey scattering. She heard a squirrel on a branch. MoonPaw quickly and silently climbed up the tree and stared at the squirrel's tail. MoonPaw pounced on the squirrrel's tail, but the squirrel fell down from the tree. MoonPaw reached her paws forward to catch it, but instead she fell too. MoonPaw saw the ground not far beneath her. "MoonPaw!", VenusPaw yowled.
