"Where's the puppy?" Taehyung exclaims as soon as he parks the car, his window rolled down as he leans across the passenger seat, a big boxy smile plastered across his face. You look up from the box with a chuckle, before you lightly pick up the small black and tan puppy and move towards the car, as Taehyung climbs out.
"He seems to like me." You smile as the dog licks your cheek, before it catches sight of Taehyung and instantly starts to wriggle in your arms, panting happily. Taehyung smiles brightly as he reaches out to take the tiny ball in his hands, and laughs as it yaps happily before it begins to gnaw on his finger.
"I think he likes me, too." Taehyung laughs, his eyes darting to the box to ensure that it said 'free to a good home'. He smiles as the puppy's tail smacks him in the face, before he looks towards you and smiles even brighter. "We have to keep him." He says in a child-like tone, and you feel your heart swell up at the sheer happiness plastered on his face.
"It would be cruel to leave him now, I mean, god knows how long he's been out here for." You say as you glance at the building the box it was infront of, before you look back at Taehyung who was playfully growling at the puppy, who growled back.
"Look at him! He has the angriest little eyebrows." Taehyung grins as he mimicks the dogs frown, before he exclaims in pain as it bites his finger roughly.
"I think we should take him home. We will have to stop by at a pet store first, though." You smile as you walk up to Taehyung and reach around him to grab the car keys from his back pocket, before you turn to the car and start it up, while Taehyung continued to play with the puppy.
"I don't want to put him down! What is this wizardry? I don't understand!" Taehyung exclaims as he forms a small ring with his thumb and index finger, which the puppy poked its nose through adorably. You laugh softly as you reach out and slip the dog from his arms and into yours, and he pouts heavily.
"We can't get anywhere if you stand here playing with him all day. Come on, we've got to get him some food bowls, at least." You tease as you scratch the small dogs head, while Taehyung nods and slips into the front seat, before you climb into the passenger seat with the puppy.
"He can sleep in our bed, right?" Taehyung asks childishly, and you shake your head with a laugh in return. "Why not?" He pouts, and your raise an eyebrow at him.
"If he's in our bed, how are you gonna rewind after a long day at work?" You smirk, and watch as Taehyung's eyes widen at your words, before he smirks back and chuckles.
"Oh, yeah. Good point. Okay, he needs a bed." Taehyung replies, his eyes focused on the road as he drives towards the pet shop, a little ways towards your house.
"We haven't named him, yet. Do you want the honours?" You ask softly, and Taehyung hums in thought as he glances at the puppy for a moment.
"Hmm... he can be... Yeontan! I like that name, because it can be Tan for short, like the fur on his nose." Taehyung grins as he reaches over to stroke the puppy's head, while he pulls into the parking lot of the pet shop.
"Yeontan is perfect." You smile back as Taehyung stops the car, and the two of you climb out, bringing Yeontan with you. "Okay, so we need bowls, a lead and collar, and a bed." You say as you wander around the store slowly, before Taehyung walks up to you with several toys and a bright smile.

"Babe..? Are you still awake?" Taehyung whispers as he rolls over slowly in the bed, ensuring not to kick Yeontan who was snoring lightly between your legs. You sigh softly and turn your head to look at him, smiling as he plants a small kiss to your forehead.
"What is it, Tae?" You whisper softly as Taehyung slips an arm under your body, pulling you close against his bare chest with ease.
"Well, before I started seeing you, there was this girl." Taehyung pauses as he bites his lip, and your eyes widen as you realize that he's talking about his abusive ex that Jimin mentioned.
"Okay." You say softly, and he smiles a little as he begins to gently stroke your back.
"She was a bit like your ex, and we broke up a while back, but she came up here today." Taehyung mumbles, and your heart drops as you stare at him. You gulp and slowly sit up, looking down on him with a deep frown.
"She what? Why did she come up her? You told her that we are dating, right?" You ask quickly, and Taehyung scrunches up his face with regret with a small sigh.
"Of course I told her. She just- didn't really listen. Look, it's no big deal, I just thought I should tell you incase she turns up again, and you think I have some girl on the side. I don't speak to her anymore, I swear. Not after everything she did to me." Taehyung says softly as he keeps a hand on your back, and you nod slowly as you slide back into his arms.
"Okay, I trust you. I just don't want her to come and upset you if she did before." You reply softly, to which Taehyung chuckles lightly, his laugh vibrating through you, too.
"I'm a big boy, I don't get upset." Taehyung rolls his eyes as he places a hand on the side of your face, leaning in to kiss you as he did so.
"If you say so." You whisper back, before Taehyung kisses you deeply while he instantly moves to lay between your legs. As he moves, he nudges Yeontan which causes him to begin yapping and bounce around on the bed
"Yeontan, shush." Taehyung mutters through the kiss, before he groans as the puppy runs up his back. "Stop it." He whines as he swats the puppy off, while you giggle softly underneath him.
"I was right about the bed." You laugh smugly, and Taehyung rolls his eyes as he mimicks your voice, before he sits up and causes Yeontan to slip off his back. He sighs as he lays down and wraps his arms around you once more, just for Yeontan to curl up in the tiny space between your bodies as you attempt to sleep again.
