Laurens POV

In less than a month, my beautiful, talented, sexy girlfriend, Dinah and I will be going off to college. We've been dating for over a year and half and when she turned eighteen we decided to move out of our parents house. Living with her has been awful. She leaves her clothes, shoes, basically everything lying around and I'm the one that picks after her.

Besides that one flaw, there's a lot of things about Dinah that caught my attention but the one thing will probably be her kind heart. She's very loving to the people around her and whenever someone sends her hate, she either ignores it or replies with something positive. When it comes to family, that's Dinah's first priority. She's the oldest of 7 if I'm not mistaken and seeing the way she plays with her brothers and sisters warms my heart. The first time I went over to her house, they welcomed me with open arms. I've never felt so much love and passion in one room.

Going off to college is something I've always wanted to do. No one would be able to change my mind. I know it's going to be scary but having Dinah right by my side, every step of the way is enough.

" Babe!" I heard her yell from on top of the stairs, " Have you seen my white shorts? And my black wedges?"

" I don't know Dinah" I said as I flipped through different TV channels, " Maybe if you clean up the room you'll probably find them"

She walked down the stairs and glared at me. She sat down on the couch and I smiled at her.

" Ha ha ha" she said sarcastically, " You think you're so funny, huh?"

" Oh please, I know I'm funny" I said as I flipped my hair, " Where are you going anyways?"

" I was going over by Mila's and see what she's up too. I think Normani is over there too" She said half smiling, " Lately she's been down in the dumps after her breakup with Austin so I thought maybe she could use a little cheering up. I haven't seen her this upset since she was seven and her mom gave away her puppy" she said and her smile suddenly faded, " I don't even think she applied for any colleges and knowing Mila, that's a place she's always wanted to go to. And Europe"

I looked away from Dinah then turned off the tv. Dinah and Camila have been best friends ever since they were little. She introduced me to camila a week after we started dating and I honestly saw why Dinah loves her so much. She's the most adorable, precious thing. Camila and I slowly developed a friendship and I totally understand why Dinah is worried or concerned about her. Her break up with Austin was horrible and ever since then, she's been locked away in her room. Austin was her first love and I totally get why she feels the way that she does.

" Yeah well can you blame her?" I said as I leaned back in the couch, " It's been how long since they've been together? Three years? I think she deserves this time to focus on her and slowly get in the swing of things. He was her first love and that sorta thing does have a major effect on a person" I said as I took her hands into mines, " Look, Babe, Camz will be okay. If she doesn't go to college this semester, there's always the second one. Mani's not going. I'm not sure about Ally but what I'm trying to say, she won't be alone. I know your scared, I am too, but Mila can handle herself. I know leaving is going to be hard but you two have been friends forever, I'm sure she'll drive every day to see you"
