btw, Jello Biafra was the frontman of the Dead Kennedys. he also was a presidential nominee for the Green Party.
some of the stuff he advocated for:
- holding elections for the right police to be put in place by the neighborhoods they'd patrol.
- making squatting legal in vacant buildings (epic and bold).
- banning cars
- paying the poor to beg in wealthier neighborhoods
- putting up a statue of the guy who assassinated Harvey Milk, Dan White, and having people purchase eggs and other fruits from the parks department to throw at the statue.
now for my favorite:
- requiring all businessmen to wear clown suits while inside the city.
