O'Shaun got up and had breakfast before going outside and shooting hoops, he wore his jersey and shorts he got from school. Janice and Tony were in the backyard again pruning their roses. He walked out the front door to the basketball hoop out the front of the house. He did layups and slam dunked the ball for about half an hour before he noticed a blue Honda pull out of Bailey's house, it looked like her father.

A few minutes later Bailey came out wearing black track shorts and a black sweater that matched. Her hair was out, and she sat outside on the front of her steps staring at O'Shaun play. Her light brown skin was glistening in the sun and her eyes were steady watching O'Shaun's every move.

O'Shaun ignored her and kept playing, she got up and walked to her mailbox while keeping her eyes on him the whole time. He turned around and looked at her, "do you want to play?" He asked her as he held up the basketball.

She smiled, "sure why not?" She walked down his driveway towards him. Her thighs were shiny and thick as she tied her hair into a ponytail.

He shook his head and threw the ball at her and she bounced the ball and went for the shot and O'Shaun blocked it and got the ball off her.

"Come on!" She whined and tried to get the ball off him, he was too fast, and he dunked the ball. "You're so mean." She said putting her hands on her hips and puffing.

"Why am I mean? Because I don't let you win?" He said arrogantly.

"I don't need you to let me win." She said taking the ball from his hand and throwing it in the hoop and scoring. "Why do you hate me?"

"Oh, I see you, trying to distract me and then score." He said bouncing and crossing the ball and shooting a three pointer. "Who said I hated you?"

"You just act like you do, and I wasn't trying to distract you," she smirked. "I got game. Pass me that ball!" She yelled at him.

He bounced passed the ball to her and she crossed the ball between her legs, and he snatched the ball from her hands, she grabbed his arm and tried to hit the ball from his hand.

He did a layup and scored two points while she was still holding his arm.

"Definitely a foul, but I won't call that, that's your freebie for the day." O'Shuan yelled.

"How is that a foul?" She objected.

"You pulled my arm Bailey! You can't do that!" He said with authority.

"Oh wow, okay Lebron." She mocked him as she rolled her eyes. "Just bring it on!" She said as she crouched low and put her arms out to block him.

He dribbled passed her and did another layup knocking her to the ground.

She sat on the ground and her knee was bleeding from a graze, he went over to her and put his hand out to help her up.

"You alright? I'm Sorry," he said standing over her as he helped her up.

"I'm good," she said dusting her clothes off. She was sweating and looked like she had been in a fight. She wiped her knee with her hand and smudged the blood down the front of her shin.

"I'll go easy on you next time." He said snickering.

"You're such an ass, I've got to go, I'll catch you later." She walked away trudging back to her house and slammed the door behind her.

O'Shaun felt bad that she fell but continued to practice shooting goals. He stayed out a little longer hoping she would come back out again, but she didn't. He came inside and Tony and Janice were laughing as they were watching something on TV.
