Earlier...

"On my way back I took a shortcut through this open field when I ran smack into something. At first I didn't see it so I was looking around like a crackhead. But then thirteen of 'em just appeared. Craziest shit I've ever seen. The funnier thing was, they completely ignored me. But it was at that point that I started to feel sicker. So, I made a pit stop to one of our local private doctors and my terminal illness said 'it's Brittney, bitch'."

Rin laughed at Ash's comment. "Alright got it. Let's head back inside."

The pair head back in.

"It wasn't a sting," Fox starts up once she sees the two enter. "But it was as I thought. They're trying to desperse it. I had my guy send it off to one of our labs down in Tokyo. "

Lynx thanks Fox for the good thinking. Cash tells them that his boys are leaving and Carnage explains that during his call he spoke to Ash's older brother.

"He asked whether or not you completed the 'issue' he discussed with you and he said that everything on the inside is fine so far. I asked him if he knew anything about the drug Fox's informant had and he said 'It's known as Ivory White by the officer's' and that it was manufactured in Mexico."

Lynx nods. He places a finger to his chin. "Tell him I have and thank him for the information."

Rin opted to hang out for a bit with everyone. He decided that he could wait to go home till just a little later.

Rin paused in the middle of his story.

"What's wrong, Devil?" Mad Dog asks with her head tilted.

Rin doubles over. He doesn't understand what this feeling is. It hurts. His mind is screaming at him that's something is wrong and it's like a piece of him is dying. There are tears in his blue eyes.

Rin is trying to figure out what's going on as a few figures gather around him. There's a very bad feeling in his chest.

"Devil, what's wrong?" Mad Dog asks again with a tremble in her voice. This was new. Devil did not cry nor did he freak out.

Rin slowly looked up in confusion. What the hell was that? He thinks. But he feels greatly disturbed still. He blinks and tears stream out of his eyes. The exwire touches his face in surprise. "S-sorry guys, I just got a really really bad feeling about something. I need to make a call." Rin explains as November helps him to his feet.

Mad Dog sighs, Fox studies Rin for a moment, and Skip busies himself with making a drink.

Rin thanks everyone and takes out his phone.

One missed call, Yukio.
One new voicemail.

Rin's eyes widen. When did Yukio call him? How did he miss that? Moreover is he alright? The exwire only hoped that Yukio was home worrying over when Rin would get back.

He dials Yukio's number. Then steps outside.

Ring, ring

Rin waits quietly.

Rin raises a brow. It doesn't take long for Yukio to answer is cellphone especially not when Rin is the calling.
