Chapter 13- lights out.

Mute would slowly come to his senses, everything around him was pitch black. His com screeching into his ear. He's forced to take it off, smashing it on the ground as he looks for crimson. Crimson was a few feet away. Mute rushing towards him. However, a chain pulling him back from his right leg. He looks down, his ankle hooked. He smashes his fist into the ground as crimson slowly wakes up. Crimson looks at mute: "mute..?" He spoke. He slowly got up, rushing towards mute before the chain pulls them both apart again. However, crimson notices a flare in between their small little gap to one another. Crimson extends his hand. Grabbing the flare as he lights it.. looking around him. What he saw..

Within the small blood red light. Crimson and mute were surrounded by humanoid type of creatures. All ranging from height to 7-9 feet in height. Long talons and sucked in eyes. They had no genitalia. Their mouths coated with the blood of their last feeding. The sound of bones snapping made crimson turn around, seeing one of these massive beast ripping a chunk of flesh out of a small boy, the thick, warm blood shooting out the boys flesh as crimson actually screams. The creatures all turn their head, looking at the boys as the massive behemoth- dropped the smaller boy. They all began to make some cackle like sound as mute stood up, raising his fist. Crimson sighed. Using the flare as a weapon in a sense. "If we die- I want you to know I nutted on your sheets" mute did a double take before getting tackled by one of these beings. The being screeching in mutes face as a long sharp talon goes to inject itself into mutes throat. However, mute catches it, slamming his right knee the creatures side. Forcing the talon down its throat as mutes free leg kicks it back. Crimson on the other hand, a creature lunged at him. However, he slid to the slide. Using his leg, he wrapped his leg around the creatures throat. Then began to spiral around it as the chain began to choke the being. Crimson got on its shoulders. Now somewhat in control as he forced the creature into other creatures. The creatures all having an uproar as another one tried to lunge at mute. However, due to mute ripping off the talon of one of the creatures. He was able to use this, sliding underneath the creature and leaping up. Smashing the talon in the back of its skull as he kicks it to the ground. Crimson jumped back with the chain still attached to the creature. The creatures head coming clean off as he punted the head into another's creature head. Mute using the talon he had to free himself. Running to crimson only to get spear tackled. The talon sliding over to crimson as he cuts himself free. Using the flare. He runs to mute pulling the creature off him and shoving the flare into the creatures throat. For some reason- as if the blood was tainted. This causes the creature to combust into flames. Crimson clay more kicking it back into the rest as flames begin to spark all around them. "WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE" before he could finish, the same girl would smash down next to him. "Oh fuck and here I thought things couldn't.." before he could finish, the girl knocked crimson flat. Running to mute. She helped up mute and mute nodded. Mute would lift up crimson as the girl grabbed onto mutes wrist. Shooting what appears to be some grapple gun towards a vent. They began to all crawl inside. Mute dragging crimson. "You're so damn lucky you're cute" mute would roll his eyes as the vent lead outside. The trio escaping the small little outpost. "Care to do the honors?" She would hand mute a small red button. Mute would nod. Pressing the button as him and the girl ran away. Mute not so fast now that crimson is on him. However, the outpost behind them would explode. Everything inside exploding as flames soared into the sky. "... well. That was fun." The girl giggled.
