Mel would sigh sitting down on the sofa. His new robotic right arm felt.. well, he couldn't feel anything at all. He would begin to rub his face as he looked around his cabin. Lyla would walk down the steps. Ambling towards the kitchen, grabbing a chair and dragging it towards the living room. Placing the chair right in front of Mel as the two locked eyes with one another. It was early morning, around 10:30 pm.

"I want you to stop fighting.. what happened to Zach can't be changed. But you're lucky to be alive..super lucky.."

"I can't stop kitty, you know that.. especially now that dark knows I'm here. He's gonna send troops. People just.. ready to fight. I dunno. Fuck me I don't have any contact with my father."

"Baby that's not our problem anymore.. let's just. Leave. Killer X and his crew can stop dark."

"How can you say that with a straight face after we all got our shit handed to us on a silver platter.."

"... I can't. But I don't care about them!! I care about you!!" Lyla would extend her arm, placing her right hand in mels only- real hand. She would tightly intertwine her fingers with his and sigh. "They don't care about you like I do.. you know that."

"Kitty it's not about caring.. it's about doing your job.. we do the dirty work, and the world stays clean.. that's our job kitty."

"Sigh.. please.. please stop fighting. My heart can't take another punishment"

"I'm sorry kitty.. this won't happen again.. but I can't stop fighting." Mel would stand up, walking over towards the window- placing his robotic right hand upon the glass. He looked out at the beautiful woods; the sun glazing down upon the Horizon so peacefully. The birds singing as animals simply roamed around.

"Well.. there's a mission for you then.."

"And that is?"

"New villain.. his name is Xodia."

"Xodia?"

"You might wanna see this.." Lyla would hand Mel a few photos.

Mel would examine the photos. The photos would actually frighten Mel a bit. Within the photos showed a massive BEAST of a man.. or being... a hybrid of some sorts. The photos showed a man with two demonic horns placed upon his head. Pure golden eyes that can almost see through Mels soul. A EXTREMELY BUILT MUSCULAR FRAME. His teeth looked razor sharp and serrated. Mel would raise his eye brow and look at lyla. "I gotta fight this?"

"Does he scare you?"

"No. Nothing scares me."

"Fuck. I thought it would scare you enough not to fight him."

"You're so dumb kitty... sigh."

"Please don't go!! I wanted to show you those to understand this shouldn't be you.. you shouldn't be fighting constantly.. I wanted you to understand there's just some men you can't beat.."

"Never tell me who I can and can't beat.."

Mel would sigh, stuffing the photos in his pocket.

"He doesn't live in maple.. he lives in a town called Rapture. It's probably an hour run from here.."

"So, why do I need to fight him?"

"Well, from what I heard is. Xodia is somewhat of a bounty killer, he's going towards the other town known as Souji to kill a family..."

"How do you know about this kitty?"

"I've been hearing about missing people. Tracking down articles and surfing through the web.. I found his name."

"And how did you get the photos?"

"Don't worry about that handsome. The town is west from us.. best place to fight is at night.."

"Fuck. My. Life."

"You still don't have to go.. souji is not our problem."

"If people are in danger it is my problem kitty."

Lyla would sigh, rushing into Mel and wrapping her arms around him. She began to attack his face with kisses as he sighed and stuffed her face within the crook of mels neck. Mel would hold her, placing a gentle kiss upon her head as he rubbed her back. "I will never leave you.. I promise." Lyla would sigh and nod, slowly sniffling as she ran upstairs. Slamming the door shut. Mel would sigh, walking down stairs to the basement. Collecting his suit and gear. Mel flexed his robotic right arm. It moved at identical speeds as his left arm. Now; mel needed Kat. He needed someone to be able to track xodias movements, study him, scan for any weak points. Anything mel can use during the fight. Mel would begin to run to HQ. He felt a bit tired and weak since he's still a bit sore but nothing he can't handle. Jumping from tree to tree. Red X took over. Red X ran into HQ, just so lucky for him- Kat was right there. Working on her desktop. Red X would shout: "howdy."

Kat would jump a bit frighten; she growled a bit but chuckled afterwards. "Hey Mel, what's going on?"

"Hey Kat. I have to fight this villain tonight.. and from the looks of it, it's gonna be rough.." Red X tossed her the photos. Kat would examine the photos as her eyes widen. "Jesus Christ... what is this.."

"Xodia."

"Fuck.. alright. What do you need?"

Red X Would pull up a chair and sit in front of her. "I need you to scan and watch the fight. Any weak points you can get, send them my way.. this isnt going to be easy."

"Mel I don't think this is a good idea.. you just got fucked up by dark you can't take another beating.."

"You sound like my mom. Just make sure you watch and scan ok? Camera is in my helmet and it's connected to your laptop."

"Fuck alright. You got it Mel."

—Nightfall would begin to set.

The once sunny day shifted into a gloomy night, a faint mist covering over the street as light drizzle began to pour down. It was time, Red X would be out and about. Rushing towards the town souji. His body groaned a bit but his spirit was high. After taking the run- which was very easy for him due to his cardiovascular strength and endurance. Upon making it to the town, the first thing he would notice is the town would be full of people, however, a bell would ring as the people began ambling towards their homes. Rushing inside and slamming their doors and locking it. This town looked religious in a sense.. Red X would begin to wonder Thr now ghostly like town. Kat would speak to Red X through his helmet.

"Mel? You alright?"

"I'm fine. It's just so.. strange. Everyone just ran into their beds."

"Yeah, souji is religious and believe sleeping earlier means they go to heaven. I don't fucking know."

"Ok?"

However, the silence was broken as a scream roared into the night. Red X responding on command as he ran through the ghostly town. Searching for the pin point of the screen. And soon, he would find it.

A man was cowering against a house, his eyes filled with fear but no one came to his aid. A massive figure was above him.

"HEY." Red X roared. "GET AWAY FROM HIM."

The being would slowly turn around, the night was black.. pitch black. The only light was the moonlight beaming down above them. However, the figure was behind he light- the shadows where its nearly impossible for him to be spotted. The being would slowly step into the poorly dimmed light. Red X's heart dropped.
