"Its fake."

Lilith's POV

Renge decided that it was her duty to tell us our 'origin story', so now I have to listen to her ramble about it.

"Sitting alone, you started to cry, the school you were in was not right for you.

"Two figures saw you. They didn't know what to do. So they sat next to you. They offered a handkerchief and a hug.

"You didn't take either. They sat with you until they knew they couldn't do anything. When you eventually passed out on the bench you were sitting on, he came and picked you up.

"When he got you back to the house he laid you down on your bed. Later in the night, they joined you in the same room. That was when you realized, your best friends were always going to be right next to you."

What the heck....when did this story get a rewrite. I am so confused.

"You became more reserved. So now you have the most protective people as friends.

Renge decided to continue the explanation of  my story so that I could get into the made up character.

"One day you were training and two new faces walked in. You didn't mind it as many people visited the dojo. You remember a teacher saying that the owners son, or something (you honestly didn't care as long as they were nice people), is coming to check on the members of the dojo and test them on their skills and rank." Renge walked over to Mori and pointed to his fake bruise that we were testing out in make up. "Mori was assigned to check how you fought and ended up getting hit by you when he didn't block one of your kicks as he was ducking to move in. "

I kept a straight face. Is renge a psychic? I saw a look of recognition cross mori's eyes for a second before leaving no trace. I walked over to Mori and started to check on the bruise. Carefully I rubbed the cheek where the bruise was and asked him if it hurt.

The rest of the host club looked at her with a confused stare. Mori and Honey acted like this was as normal as Honey eating at least five cakes in about point two seconds.

"Lilith," Mori grabbed my wrist gently, "that was years ago, this a fake bruise to." whispering to me in my ear.

"I-I know b-but last time I broke your jaw. I'm- are you....you are okay, right?" I whispered back.

"Of course I am Lilith, I am pretty sure I got the medical attention I needed. Plus I had you yelling at everyone to ' Fix me' and while they were at that, 'quickly'." He lightly chuckled. I was still worrying over him.

Kyoya's POV

I watched as Lilith rubbed the fake bruise on Mori's face. I don't know what came over me but I wanted her to do that to me.

I shook my head disregarding that thought.

It seems they have a past together. I should really try and look into her life a little more.

Tamaki was staring at Lilith and Mori and soon started screaming which made Lilith move her hand away from Mori's face and instead balled up into a fist.

She moved her way over to Tamaki but was caught by Mori, who was holding shoulder back. She growled intensely, it made me feel weird. I thought about how I would hold her back. How it wouldn't be at the shoulder but at the waist. How, life maybe wouldn't be so blue. I mean, as long as she was in my life I could cope with her being with him.

I tightened my grip on my death note, almost ripping it. It was agony, watching someone do that with her. Having someone look her in the eyes and smile. I wish I could trade bodies with Mori. Even if just for this hour.

Tamaki POV

I saw Kyoya tense up from the corner of my eye. 'Is he ok?' I asked myself not having an answer. I didn't pay any mind to it and went back to teasing Lilith.
