yuqi wakes up and opens one eye, squinting. a headache exploded in her head and she groaned. she sat up and just stayed still, eyes still closed.
"morning."
yuqi jumps and opens her eyes.
"o-oh morning!"
minnie put her sweater back on and awkwardly sat there, on the edge of yuqi's bed.
"do you-"
"you-"
they said at the both time. minnie chuckles and puts point her hand at the younger girl, indicating her to talk first.
"no, you can." yuqi said.
"i just wanted to ask if you wanted water and aspirin or whatever."
"that'd be nice." she smiled. "and i wanted to say that you can leave... if you want to."
"yeah i think i should, uh, get going. miyeon-"
miyeon miyeon miyeon is that all she thinks about? yuqi thinks, slightly immediately annoyed.
"about last night-" minnie starts but yuqi just shakes her head.
"i was drunk. it's nothing. i- i'm not... a lesbian okay?" yuqi states clearly, ignoring eye contact and slightly shaking.
"what's so bad with being a-"
"i just can't okay!" yuqi says loudly, startling minnie.
"okay." she nods. "but do you actually, um, like me?"
"can we not talk about this?"
"i just want closure." yuqi sighs.
"yes. i did like you. but that's not what i am. understood?"
minnie wanted to argue but it was too early for any yelling.
"yes i understand." she said and walked out of the door.
after the door closes yuqi groans and starts kicking the blanket.
she still loves minnie, but is too much of a coward to accept who she is.
