Harry: When you arrived home that night, you were shocked to see boxes piled up in the living room. “What is this?” “Your stuff,” you boyfriend snapped, “Thought maybe the guy you’re sleeping with could come tomorrow and help you get it all.” Your eyes widened in fear, because as far as you knew he had no clue about Harry. He saw your face, and held back so much anger, “I’m not stupid [Y/N]. I know why you’re never here.” “I’m sorry. I just…” Your quick apology caused your boyfriend to cut you off, while raising his voice, “Do not try to defend yourself! You’re sleeping with someone else! How could you do this to me?!” You never wanted to hurt him, but of course there was no way you wouldn’t in this situation, “I’m sorry. I fell for him, and I didn’t know what to do. I should have just told you.” “Doesn’t matter now, does it? He can have you.” He tried to sound like he didn’t care, but you could hear how hurt he was. Not even the thought that you could finally be with Harry, could make this feel okay. “I’m so, so sorry.”
Niall: “Niall, I’m sorry.” You cried those words over the phone, when Niall finally answered your call. You had been calling him for 5 days straight, and this was the first time he had actually answered. “Stop calling me [Y/N].” “I won’t!” You quickly shouted that, so scared he was going to hang up on you. “I’m sorry I said your kiss meant nothing. What was I supposed to say right then and there? He was so mad, and he had ever right to be. It did not mean nothing though. I did want to kiss you, and it meant so much to me. I just could not say that with him so upset. He’s calmer now though, and I told him the truth. I’m so sorry I hurt you, both of you.” An awkward silence fell between you two after, and your heart ached the entire time, until Niall finally broke the quiet. “Maybe we should meet up sometime, and talk about how much it actually meant to both of us.”
Louis: A month seemed to go by so slowly after that horrible night. Cheating on your boyfriend had cost you your relationship. You had messed up, but you did not want to end it. He did though, and you could not blame him or convince him not to. You didn’t see Louis again either, because of the guilt you felt over what you two had done. “[Y/N]?” You were in town shopping, when you heard your name called, and your heart fell. “Hi Louis.” “How have you been?” Louis asked that carefully, knowing what happened after he left your house that day. “I hate myself,” you sighed honestly, “We ruined so much all for one night.” Louis was careful with his words as he replied, “Maybe we also started something. If you were as happy as you thought with him, you wouldn’t have…” You put a hand up to stop him from finishing his thought, “No Louis. I can see where this is going, and no. At the end of the day, I could never be with you. It would hurt him if he found out. And we’ve hurt him enough. It was one time, and that’s it.” “I was just going to say maybe it’s for the best you two broke up. I want you both happy, and clearly you were not really happy together.” “Oh…” you looked down embarrassed at your assumption “Well I do hope he’s happy too. He deserves that.”
Liam: “I love you.” Those three words pushed you into a fit of tears. “Don’t. Say. That.” Your boyfriend, the one who had said those words, put a comforting arm across your shoulders, “What’s wrong [Y/N]?” “Stop saying you love me,” you begged, your heart shattering as you did. “But I do love you.” You quickly pushed his arm off of you, and shook your head, “But I don’t love you.” “That’s okay, it takes time,” he said, so understanding. That only made you cry harder. Why did he have to be so kind? You felt like such a horrible person, as you finally confessed the truth, “No, don’t you see it?! I love someone else. I love him so much.” “You-you cheated on me?” “His name is Liam, and I love him. I love Liam.” Saying those words aloud, gave you so much courage. As much as you told Liam love was what made this hard, saying the word made everything so much clearly. You finally had the strength to look into your boyfriend’s heartbroken eyes, “I’m so sorry, but that’s why you can’t love me. I should have told you sooner. I love him so much, and I want to be with him.”
Zayn: “I never even thought he’d be watching us dance,” Zayn sighed, when you came back into the club, and sat down at the table he was also at. “Well he was, and now he dumped me. Which I guess is for the best if I’m happy when another guy kisses me.” Your mind went back to the kiss, and the smile you could not hide. “But this just feels so weird. I don’t even know what I’m feeling.” You hated that a happy and upbeat song started at that moment, “I hate this song.” “[Y/N], do you want to call him? You could always try and blame me.” You looked up at Zayn’s concerned face, and shook your head swiftly, “No, of course not. I kissed you too, it went both ways. We’ve been fighting so much lately, that I’m sure we were going to break up soon no matter what. I’m just in shock that it was here and like this.” “I’d say dancing would help get your mind off of it, but dancing is what started this.” With a quick glance at the dance floor, you shrugged. You still felt horrible, but as you said, it was coming either way. “What else can happen. I’m single now, right? Let’s dance.”
