Intro

Alexa's POV

"Ty, shut up!" I threw a pen at him.

"Oww!" He whined. Now we are in for it.

"Tyler! Alexa! What is so important that you just HAD to talk during my lesson?!" Mrs. Jaslyn snapped.

"Not a thing, Ma'am." Tyler replied.

I glared at Tyler.

When I turned my attention back to the lesson, Mrs. Jaslyn was assigning the homework. A 2 page essay on the effects of global warming on Earth. Great. Another essay. The third one this week. Good thing tomorrow is Friday, and Monday is the last day of school. Regents are over, but the school forces us to take one more week of classes after our last exam.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the bell ringing loudly.

I put my books in my bag and went to my locker. I put in my code. 14-48-28.

Once I had everything, I went to meet Meg and Ty at our usual spot.

I approached Meghan, but I didn't see Tyler. You see, Tyler is my twin. My parents died in a car crash a long time ago, and now Tyler and I live with my best friend Meghan, and her family. She has younger sister, Valentina. Ty, Meg, and I are a year older than her. She is 14 and we are 17. It's our last year of school, and We have our grad parties this summer. Meg and I already applied to Utica College in New York. It's very close to home. About 45 minutes. I will be able to visit all the time. Ty is going to Morrisville, which is even closer.

Anyway, I grabbed my keys from my bag and raced Meghan to the car. I won. YASS! I drove home to see Tyler already there, doing homework. All I had was that stupid essay, so I decided to grab my laptop and start it.

"Lexi! Tyler! Meg! Val! Dinner time!" Dad yelled. Yes, I call him dad.

We chorused a mixture of "yeahs" and "comings". It turned out more like "coahing" Dad chuckled.

"You guys are unique, alright." Mum laughed.

"YAAASS!!!" Meg and I yelled at the same time, flipping our hair.

Tyler rolled his eyes, "Females." He murmured.

"Heard that." I announced.

"Heard that." He mocked.

"Idiot."

"Idiot." He smirked.

"Tyler!" Mum warned.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Watch yourself, son." Dad threatened.

Val giggled. Meghan slapped her. Mum shot them a glare.

Val always tags along with Tyler, it's cute. Tyler is so protective, but he gets angry if you mention anything about it.

I finished my dinner, and went upstairs to finish my essay.

"In conclusion, Global Warming causes disruptions to ecosystems and extinction to wildlife."

I shut down my laptop and turned up my stereo.

"...Chanel this Chanel that, Hell yeah, all my girls vintage Chanel baby!" I sang along. Val came in and started dancing.

"It's no big deal, it's no big deal, it's no big deal, this is my no big deal!" We sang along.

Tyler and Meghan joined us for the chorus.

"This is how we do, yeah, chilling laid back straight stuntin' yeah we do it like that! This is how we do, do do do do, this is how we do!"

Tyler soloed it "big hoops and maroon lips, my clique hoppin' in my Maserati. This is how we do! Santa Barbara, Chique, at la super rica, grabbing tacos checking out hotties!" We burst out laughing.

"That-was-hilarious-" I choked out.

"Breathe sista, breathe!" Val chanted, patting my back.

"I think that performance deserves some ice cream, no?" Tyler suggested.

"YASSS!!" Meg and I cheered.

"Mum, Going out for ice cream, be back in a bit!" I yelled, walking out, tossing the keys to my brother.

"Be back before midnight!"

"Yep!" Val agreed.

Hey lovelies, sorry it's short, but it's a start!! Next update will probably be this week sometime. I can tell you that there most likely won't be a specific day every week that this story is updated 😔 my schedule is just too busy for that. However, I will have AT LEAST 1 update a week.
