Chapter Seven

After Dom and I's 'exercise' routine this morning. Mia and I gathered around Brian. Watching as he tinkers with the Navigation device. Putting the chip back into place, we watch as it opens up.

The information it pops out sure as hell was a good enough reason for Reyes to be as pissed off as he is.

"What do you think?" Mia asks looking from the screen to Brian.

"It's a custom chip, it has all these side menus for data entry. And check this out " Brian says pressing a button on the device. The screen lights up showing 10 buildings all lit up with markers.

"Last destinations. Same buildings. Same order, every week." I said looking at the screen.

"It's a delivery schedule" Dom says coming closer to the three of us.

"What's that ?" Mia asks pointing to the number 49 next to each entry.

Drugs? I wonder. Brian must have saw the look on my face because he shakes his head.

"That's a dealers pack" Brian starts looking over at our reactions" Major players weigh money so they don't have to count it. 49 kilos is how much a million weighs in 20s " he finishes.

"So what, each one of these shipments is a million dollars is what you are saying" I ask leaning forward looking closer at the numbers.

Brian nods"there's gotta be a hundred mil spread out in all those cash houses" he states. Before continuing "Reyes was right to want this back it's his whole network." I could see the wheels in Mia's head turning as her jaw drops.

"It's how he keeps it off the grid" Dom said crossing his arms leaning back slightly.

"It's like one big treasure map, a whole big ass treasure map in Rio. Right at our finger tips." I excitedly said basically bouncing around right where I stand.

"Before anyone gets any ideas...Mia starts but, gets interrupted by the sound of a dog barking. Dom motions us to go. Not even seconds later as Mia, Brian, and I were climbing the wall. As the door opens with a loud bang.

Just as Reyes men see us moving, getting ready to shoot. Dom smashes a sledgehammer into the lead gunman. Causing a distraction as bullets rain out wildly. Making Reyes men duck trying to avoid the rapid fire. Giving a chance not only for Dom, but the others to run off as well.

While Brian, Mia and I got a head start. I knew Dom wasn't too far behind us. We burst through a garage, almost instantly Dom was right beside us.

" Meet us at the bottom of the hill" Dom says to Brian and Mia as he grabs my hand. We began the chase of Cat and mouse. Let me just say I hate being the mouse. Running is not my thing, unless you count me running to catch the ice cream truck then sue me. I love ice cream.

Brian and Mia ahead of Dom and I as we are currently working our way through the tight corners. somehow ending up right in front of a barrel of a gun. Which was smack dab in the middle of Dom's chest.

"Police, get on the ground!" The woman shouts at both of us. Holding her gun steady ready to shoot either of this if need be. Like I'd do anything...okay maybe. Into her radio"I've got Toretto, four blocks north of you" the lady states to more than likely her boss.

Sudden gun fire rages all around us. Dom is quick to grab both of us,hiding behind a wall. That shields us from the rain of fire.

"Espera ! Policia!" The woman shouts out to the men shooting at us. Causing me to glare at her.

"Gee, don't you think they already know that"I said as Dom continues to cover me. I feel him pinch my backside making squeak. He gave me the look to be nice. Now is not the time Dom, I glare at him.

"You are just drawing fire" Dom says looking over at her. Making her shut her mouth, a displeased look doesn't leave her face though.

"We need to go" I said hearing Reyes men closing in on us. For there only to be a loud commotion, must be the patrol officers team.

The sound of her team distracts her enough, giving Dom and I enough time to escape.

Small time skip...

Dom and I met Mia and Brian at the bottom of the hill. I am completely out of breath from all of the running the minute I saw everyone was okay. I sat my ass down on the ground okay...okay that's a lie. I happily laid down sweaty, panting heavily, and sure as hell I'm not moving from this spot. It's only a small patch of dirt and rocks that I'm on but, I don't care if I get wet, I'm not moving. That was too much running for a life time.

"They'll be looking for us together, we have to split up. Brian, take Mia and Harley. Head south I'll lead them away. " Dom says seeing that I still haven't moved, I swear I saw a smile come from him at my state.

"No.. Mia begins but Brian cuts her off "Mia, Dom's right. Look at what just happened, we got lucky but, what about the next time and the time after that.."Mia interrupts him this time.

"I'm pregnant" she says I could tell how much it's been killing her to hold that in. I instantly see the relief in her body.

"I already lost my family once, I'm not going through that again. We aren't going through that again" I said this time standing up. Motioning to Mia and myself. There's no way in hell that we are splitting up.

"I'm not going anywhere" Brian says grabbing both of us into an embrace.

"Dom" Mia says turning to him, he has been quiet this whole time. Not being able to meet her eyes.

"Dom, please. Promise we stick together. Promise me."I beg this time for the both of us. I see a small smile appear on his lips.

"It looks like our family just got a whole lot bigger" he said bringing it in for a group hug.
