"Got it. We got it!" Mia exclaims as the monitors start showing the surveillance around the police station.
"We are looking at four cameras." Brian said as we all gather around Mia.
"Yo, that's some high end shit, too. Marker optics, hundred degree field of view. " Han said completely impressed.
"Meaning ten seconds of oscillation" I said crossing my arms.
"That's a very narrow window, man" Brian said staring at the monitor.
"Can't we just tap in and replace the image" Gisele asks looking to Tej.
"No, it's hooked into a digital sync. They would know we were in the system" Tej said shaking his head no.
"All we can do is play peek a boo, we'll need fast cars to do this. To make that 10 second window." I said.
"Not just fast, we're going to need something agile." Han said we'll have to be damn near close to being shadows.
"You guys mock up a track. O'Connor, let's go get some cars " Dom said smirking.
Time skip...
I hear Rome start laughing as I make my way out of Dom and I's 'room'. Seeing a blue Porsche parked next to Dom's charger. Brian gets out of the drivers side of the Porsche.
"Really? Where did you get that from? Papa Smurf?" Rome jokes pointing to the blue car. As he's talking to Brian I make my way over to Dom. Pulling him in for a kiss. He wraps his arms around my waist, smiling down at me.
"So that's the car...we better hope it's fast" I said grabbing onto Dom's hand we make our way to the mock up track.
"Okay, O'Connor give it your best shot" Dom said through the walkie talkie. As I lean against the rail beside him.
Watching as Brian drifts around the corner. Getting past camera 1 and 2. Camera three still caught him though.
"How was that one?" Brian asks getting out of the car.
"Camera still caught you" Han said placing a chip in his mouth.
"What?" Brian said with disbelief slamming the car door behind him.
"Yeah, still caught you." Han said throwing a chip back into the bag that was in his hand.
"Man, I was milking the hell out of that thing, too" Brian said making his way up the steps.
"We are going to need a faster car" Dom said looking to Brian.
......
"My turn" I said grabbing the keys to my newly won skyline. Something Brian was jealous of. ( image of car at the top. Not my image)
Behind the wheel of the car made everything else not matter at all. It felt like I was in slow motion, as I shift going around a tight corner. Keeping in mind that I'm trying to avoid the cameras.
Camera 3 seems to be everyone's problem. As I was coming up on it. I squeeze in close as I can trying to become like a shadow. As if I wasn't even there. Before making it back in front of everyone. Stepping out of the car. I turn to look at everyone. Brian wore the proudest look on his face.
"Well, how'd I do?" I ask leaning against my car. No one spoke at first.
"None of them caught you, Ladies and gentlemen this is my baby sister Harley O'Connor. An I just want to say, I taught her all of those moves"Brian said pulling me into a hug. Ruffling up my hair a little bit, I playfully roll my eyes. Shoving his hands away.
"Alright Proud big brother, it's my turn" Gisele said chuckling at our antics.
"This should be interesting" I said as Han hasn't taken his eyes off the woman. She's got amazing driving skills but one of the cameras still caught her.
"I think I'm in love" Han said as she came to a stop.
"The was real solid work, I think camera 3 still caught you, though." Rome said with his arms crossed as Gisele gets out of the car.
"Let's do it again" she said getting back into the car.
.....
"Let me guess, overnight special delivery?" I ask as Santos and Leo were unscrewing the front of a gigantic wooden box.
"That's the piggy bank you ordered" Leo said as Brian and Rome move the front of the box to the side.
"You kidding me" Tej said looking over to Leo.
"Yep" Leo said nodding as everyone admired the exact copy of the vault from the police station.
"Where in the hell did y'all get one of these?" Tej asks curious.
"Well , we had a life before you met us." Han said throwing Tej's words back at him.
"All right, I'll get to work on the electronic tumbler, but there's still another problem. Palm scanner. Without Reyes handprint, Houdini himself couldn't open this bitch." Tej said walking forward to the vault.
"How do you know it's Reyes handprint?" Leo asks Tej.
"You got 100 million dollars in a safe, you going to put somebody else's handprint on it?" I ask speaking up before Tej does. As I stand next to Dom who was holding onto my hand.
"How are we supposed to get Reyes handprint?" Rome asks I look up at Dom motioning to Gisele and Han.
"Han you're up" Dom said realizing what I'm trying to do. Of course I have to play match maker.
"Sure, nothing like the easy stuff." Han said walking around everyone.
"Let's go, I'll drive" Gisele said following him. Making me smile.
Once they leave the room I felt a nudge beside me. I turn my attention to Dom with a raised eyebrow.
"You are trouble , you know that" Dom said laughing as I playfully punch him.
"All the more reason for you to love me" I sass back with a laugh of my own.
"I do love you, a whole lot. All I'm saying is you are trouble" he said as he starts to tickle my sides making me squeal trying to get away from him. Key word try. He picks me up holding me in place.
"Are we really doing this ?" I ask him playing with his shirt a little bit.
"No more running, just me and you. On the beach somewhere. Anywhere you wanna go. We can start our own family" Dom said tightening his hold on me.
"Dom, you had me at no more running. You'll always have me" I said tilting my head up, I bring him in for a kiss. Which turns into a heated make out session. We both pull away at the sound of a throat clearing. I turn to see Rome and Tej smirking.
"So did he smack that ass or did he grab and hold onto it?" Tej asks still smirking.
"Yeah, you know you guys could just get a room" Rome said feeling a little uncomfortable.
"Okay" I said shrugging unraveling myself from Dom before grabbing his hand and heading to our 'bedroom' . Making Tej and Rome look on in shock, while Dom at the cheesiest grin on his face.
