Incomplete

The others

When Patton first wrote to his soulmate he was scared but excited. He was 6 and got back from school where his teacher was talking about soulmates. When he found out that he had two soulmates, well he was so excited. He rushed to his parents and his parents thought to celebrate by going out for ice cream. His parents were open and excited for Patton. Patton would spend years writing to both of his soulmates, getting to know them. They lived in other states however. They tried their best to meet up at least once a summer as they got older(and they did). They went on dates and visited each other and their families who were both equally as open with their son's soulmates. When they decided to go to college, they all decided to go to the same college and even share an apartment together. So there they were, in a cozy apartment in their ginormous bed to fit them all. They of course, tried to have the same general ed classes, but each had their own classes for each of their majors. Logan, with his black pen was thinking of being a teacher. Roman, and his sparkling red pen and his beautiful extra ness decided to try and be an actor. Patton, well he was thinking of being a vet(even though he was allergic to cats). They were happy and felt like everything was going their way until a few weeks into college. They were having a movie night(even though Logan insisted that they work on homework) that something strange happened. They felt a tingle, unlike anything they ever felt before, they felt a soft almost anxious energy to it. They look down to find a purple pen mark on their fingers. All three were very confused and gave each other looks. They had a fourth soulmate. They wrote back, but with no reply. They each had their own thoughts towards this mysterious fourth soulmate.

Patton was sad, he had no clue why this soulmate went their whole life not writing. Did they do something wrong? He had no clue.

Logan was confused, it was rare to have more than one soulmate, but pretty much unheard of to have 3 soulmates. He wanted to also know why they had never known about their 4th. He needed to do research.

Well Roman, he was angry. Why in the world would their 4th soulmate not want anything to do with them? Why had they never replied?

The only mark was obvious a mistake.
They tried to finish the movie they were watching, but all their minds were on their missing soulmate. Who were they? Where were they? What happened? All these questions and more floated in their minds. Suddenly they felt lost, incomplete, knowing that they had a missing piece. Hopeful however, that fate would bring them together. What they didn't know was that fate was already doing so.
