Lewis's POV.
***
I remember now, there was shouting. A lot of shouting. Someone was crying. I think that was me. My cheeks were hot, my eyes were blurry. I can't remember what I saw. But it hurt. My heart hurt. My brain was throbbing. My body was numb. And then I blacked out...
***
It wasn't long ago I had arrived here, or maybe it was?
I don't remember.
All I know was that I had shots, it was a blast! Then some people invited me to go with them to this bar up town. How I got in, I don't even know. After that, I don't remember the rest.
I think I passed out after a while because I had now woken up in Leo's bed with a massive headache and the taste of alcohol swirling in my mouth. Or was that puke? Either way, it was bitter and tasted really horrid.
"Get your ass up now." Threatened Leo as she slammed the door open, walking up towards her bed and pulling the covers off; leaving me to roll up into a meatball. The cold air sudently hit my skin making the hairs on my body stand up.
It was to early for this and all i wanted was to sleep through this stupid hangover. But no, Leo had other plans for me, ones that I would gladly decline.
"Lewis get your lazy ass out that bed right now or I'll call dad telling him exactly where you were last night and what you did!" she threatens, her face dead serious. Why did I have a feeling this was coming? The last thing I wanted was for that asshole to find out and then I would be grounded for sure...not that I would listen to him but his could cost me my phone or maybe even my future car.
I grouched out the bed covering my face with my hands, hissing like a vampire who has just been exposed to the light. "Happy?" my voice cracked, my eye still pressed shut.
As I slowly opened my eyes I could see my sister dear was examining me. "Can I help you?" She hummed in response pointing at my collar bone and handing me a pocket mirror that she had previously picked up from the counter.
And there, funnily enough was a faint hickey. "horse shit." I muttered to myself, this day really couldn't get any worse. Leo had a puzzled look on her face, "who gave you that? I didn't know you were seeing anyone."
"I'm not." I barked back, eyes filled with fury. "This cunt I made out with last night left it there."
"Weren't you more interested in girls than guys?" She questioned dumbfounded.
"Yes but society doesn't know that my dear." I replied like it was the most obvious thing ever. I mean seriously, I had my social image to hold up an lets be realistic, I was on most people's 'kill without a trace' list. Everyone knowing I was bisexual and spent my free time dreaming about how I was going to fuck hot girls wasn't what I needed right now or anytime soon for that matter.
I liked my life as it was: alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and then the cycle started all over again; some people thought I was crazy; some thought my parents never taught me how to be a good civilian; some thought I was just another little shit in this world who deserved to be burnt in hell.
It was kind of sad really, because no one really knew me. I wasn't always like this...things changed...people change.
"Lu...you shouldn't need to hide who you are from...well...society." She smiled sympathetically.
"Please hun, society ain't really accepting to druggie 14-year-olds who by the way are also bisexual and who's idea of fun is going round drinking, smoking and snogging random guys." Leo was left speechless. She didn't know what to say anymore and lying would be pointless in this situation.
