Sebastian paced around the room and glanced at the clock again for the fifth time that minute and it still read 7:56. He sighed quietly and twisted the engagement ring on his finger as he waited. It's been a long time since he felt this anxious, probably since he confessed his love for Dallas the first time.
After his conversation with his mom he began to realize how messed up this whole situation was. His son had to grow up wondering why his dad was never around. He didn't even want to imagine what his son grew up feeling. Did he hate Sebastian for not being there?
Suddenly it hit Sebastian, he missed everything he ever hoped to experience. He could only imagine what his firsts were like, his baby's first smile, first steps, first word, his first birthday. He missed it all. Sebastian was overwhelmed by the feeling and started to cry.
Within a few seconds the door opened and Dallas walked into their rented villa. She was holding a basket in her hands full of roses and sunflowers someone had given Margot and her while on their walk.
Dallas set her basket on a nearby table before looking for her future husband. She walked towards the living room and saw that Sebastian was now curled up on the floor softly crying.
Without even thinking she instantly ran to him and kneeled besides him. "Seb. Hey Seb get up sweetheart, what's wrong?" She grabbed his face in her hands and noticed the tears running down his face. "Sebby talk to me. What happened?"
Seeing Sebastian crying on the floor scared her, she's never seen him like this. They've been through a lot together and not once did Sebastian completely break down. Her heart broke when she saw how hurt and vulnerable he looked.
Sebastian looked up at Dallas and for a second he felt loved but a voice in his head reminded him about his son and he began to feel guilty. "I'm so sorry, you deserve better. I wish it was you, not her." Sebastian sobbed.
Dallas was taken a back at what Sebastian said. "What happened while she was out?" she wondered. "Hey, look at me. Breath. Tell me what's wrong."
It took Sebastian a few minutes to control his emotions before he started to explain what was going on to Dallas. He tried to be straightforward with her but he also didn't want to surprise her.
"Kennedy got pregnant with my kid and she never told me. Chace told me over the phone. I had a son for the past three years and I didn't know it. I didn't know how to tell you because I wasn't sure if I was going to lose you. Family means everything to you, I know that. Before you came into my life I wasn't ready for a family and now all I could think of is starting a family with you. I wanted to start a family with you and now I have a kid and you aren't the mom."
Dallas pulled Sebastian in for a hug. She knew how much this was hurting him and it hurt her too but they couldn't change the past. She loved him no matter what and this wasn't going to change that.
"Sebby, nothing can change the way I feel for you. I love you so much, please don't forget that. We'll get through this like we always do. Please don't cry, this was out of your control."
Hearing her words instantly relieved Sebastian, she loved him and nothing was going to change that. With the tears slowly starting to stop, he thanked God for sending an angel his way. Knowing that Dallas was going to stay with him and help him through this filled his heart with joy. If he was able to he would marry her right there.
Dallas pulled away from the hug and grabbed Sebastian's hands. "Once we're back in the States we'll make it our number one priority to find your son. I don't want to be rude but we're on vacation, let's live a little before we have to go back and deal with the real world." She said and Sebastian agreed.
She was all he would ever need.
